GAMBARAN PERILAKU PERAWAT DALAM PENCEGAHAN

KEJADIAN PLEBITIS DI RUANG RAWAT INAP RUMAH SAKIT

BUNGSU BANDUNG TAHUN 2017

Kemampuan petugas kesehatan khususnya perawat dalam memutus transmisi

infeksi di rumah sakit, dan upaya pencegahan infeksi adalah tidak lepas dari faktor
yang mempengaruhinya yaitu pemahaman petugas kesehatan tentang Patient
Safety. Kualitas pelayanan keperawatan perlu diukur melalui indikator mutu
keperawatan yaitu sebagai standar dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan dan
sebagai pedoman mengukur dan mengevaluasi kualitas pelayanan keperawatan
yang dilakukan. Salah satu indikator mutu keperawatan tersebut adalah angka
kejadian plebitis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran
perilaku perawat dalam pencegahan kejadian plebitis di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah
Sakit Bungsu Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perawat di Ruang Rawat
Inap Rumah Sakit Bungsu Bandung yang berjumlah 18 sampel. Penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain Cross Sectional. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan, perilaku perawat pada pelaksanaan Standar Operasional Prosedur
pemasangan infus dikategorikan perilaku tinggi sebesar 94,4%, perilaku
pelaksanaan monitoring VIP score dikategorikan perilaku tinggi sebesar 61%.
Diharapkan kepada pihak manajemen Rumah Sakit Bungsu Bandung hendaknya

membenahi dan memberikan dukungan dalam mengembangkan Sumber Daya
Manusia Keperawatan, agar memiliki kemampuan guna memberikan pelayanan
berkualitas kepada masyarakat.

The ability of health professionals, especially nurses in deciding the transmission

of infections in hospitals, and efforts to prevent infection is not separated from the

factors that influence the understanding of health officers about Patient Safety.

The quality of nursing care needs to be measured through the quality indicator of

nursing as a standard in providing nursing services and as a guide to measure

and evaluate the quality of nursing services performed. One indicator of nursing

quality is the incidence of plebitis. The purpose of this study was to determine the

description of the behavior of nurses in the prevention of plebitis occurrence

inpatient Room of Bandung Bungsu Hospital. This study was conducted on nurses

at the Inpatient Room of Bandung Bungsu Hospital which amounted to 18

samples. This research is descriptive research with Cross Sectional design. The

result of the research shows that the behavior of nurses on the implementation of

Standard Operating Procedures of infusion is categorized high behavior of

94,4%, behavior of VIP monitoring performance score is categorized high

behavior 61%. It is expected to the management of Bandung Bungsu Hospital

should fix and provide support in developing Human Resources Nursing, in order

to have the ability to provide quality services to the community.
