Can you remember?


Phrasal Verbs consist of a verb plus a particle. The particle can be a
preposition or an adverb.

Examples:

To look up: To consult a reference book


I need to look up this information.
Phrasal verbs can also have more than one particle
to look out for: to try to notice something/someone
I told him to look out for thieves.

with something)

Examples:
You’ll get used to using your left hand after enough practice.
When we sold the car we quickly got used to taking the bus.
Don’t worry, I’ve gotten used to you always lying!

You can also use not get used to + gerund to explain what you aren’t familiar with.

I will not get used to living without you!


She has not gotten used to being poor yet.
