Geomorphology of the mapping area is divided into three morphological
classes, namely: bumpy hill morphology, hills are steep, and steep hill morphology
Stratigraphy divided into four-unit rocks from old to young, namely: limestone
units, sandstone units, claystone units, and andesite intrusion.
Geology structure that found in the mapping area consist of: Syncline,
Anticline, Joint (Shear Joint, Extention Joint), Fault (Thrust Fault, Brecciation,
Slickenslides). and The structure of physical sediments in the form of parallel
laminasi, convolute laminasi and current ripple laminasi and structure sediment
chemistry in the form of konkresi iron.
Geology disaster in the mapping area is landslide, happened in three different
locations with type of translational landslide.
Human Resources in mapping areas consist of : Construction Sector and As
Independent Business.
The history of geology in the mapping area begin where the Formation of
Rajamandala is deposited at the time of the final Oligocene to the Early Miocene. At
the beginning of Miocene it happened transgression of rising sea water that is
suspected to result from the removal process of claystone. Middle Miocene, sediment
is turbidit, precipitated sandstone, deep sea precipitate environment. At the end of
Miocene age, sea water regression occurs and followed by tectonic activity of
Southeast - Northwest compression system that removes the clay and sandstone from
the deep ocean environment into the land environment. Allegedly in the Early
Pliocene intrusion of andesite rocks that break through the Formation of Citarum.
