Saddle Up Those Horses And Get Ready To Ride!

Revelation 19:11 After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness Revelation 19:14 And the troops of heaven, clothed in fine linen, dazzling and clean, followed Him on white horses. I love horses and I enjoy horseback riding too, but I also get REALLY sore after a long ride. I remember when our family went horseback riding together when we first moved to Phoenix from Ohio. I also remember the next day when I tried to get out of bed ... let me just say ... it wasn't a pretty sight. I was incredibly sore and could barely move! I had muscles hurting that I didn't even know I had! The ride in the above Scriptures is a very different kind of ride. This will be the ride of our lives! A ride that will change the course of eternity like never before! I can hardly wait! Can you try to imagine with me for a moment and allow those creative juices to begin to flow? I can see the troops lined up and ready to ride. Can you imagine saddling up these white horses? Wow! And not to mention the garb of clean and dazzling fine linen we'll be wearing. Here we are, waiting for our Commander in Chief to give us the signal to charge. We're lined up eagerly waiting for His shout. At the sound of His voice, we begin the descent to Earth. The clouds burst open revealing the land below. We see the enemy and his troops perched at Armageddon waiting for us to arrive. Jesus comes in to view and the enemy suddenly begins to cringe. He shudders at the very thought of coming face to face with the Great I AM. Oh, it will be a sight to behold! Satan will then see the Saints of God coming up in close ranks behind our Captain of the Host, Jesus Christ. Can you just envision the look on Satan's pathetic face when he sees the Calvary of the Righteous? I'm certain victory will not be something he will experience on that Day. What do you think? He may even turn and run with his tail between his legs? No punt intended , of course. LOL Can you imagine Jesus up in the front sailing across the sky with his white robe flowing in the wind, the Gold crown upon His head and the Glory of God surrounding His entire being? He is called Faithful, and what stands behind the meaning of His name? It's synonymous of being trustworthy, having complete loyalty, representing the incorruptible, holding steady and staying true. These characteristics are embedded in to His eternal existence, therefore giving Him the right to pass judgment and wage war in righteousness. Due to His complete righteousness, He will judge the entire earth through the vein of His holiness and uprightness. Praise God He's our Captain! The battle will be over before it even begins. Jesus already conquered Satan at His Resurrection so this will be a short lived battle. But it will also be the ultimate fight! Our family loves the ultimate fighting series. We love the intensity of the drama and force behind the heart that's sold on winning. I also grew up in a home where my Dad was an amateur boxer. He didn't make it to the big time, but my uncle Carl did! My Dad taught me to fight and defend myself when I was about 8 years old. I was being picked on by some bullies at school and he'd had enough of me coming home crying, so he taught me how to protect myself.

It's the same way spiritually with Jesus, He's coming back as a Man of War, according to Isaiah 42:13. And let me just state right now that He's not interested in the concept of defeat. Satan will get K.O.'d big time! LOL I can't wait to see His Glory and experience firsthand, the Love He has for His Bride. Remember, we are the Bride of Christ! Think about our future. It will be a future filled with an eternity of gazing in to the Face of God and worshipping Him at His Throne. I sometimes wonder what it will sound like when we're all singing in one accord in Heaven. I cannot wait to saddle up my horse and ride! Until next time: Stay focused on the Ride of your life Get comfortable in the saddle Listen closely for the Shout! Bless all of you! My desire is to see God's people to become strengthened and prepared! ;)
