To whom it may concern:

I am writing this letter to express my interest in the position of elementary school teacher at

your school. I am interested in this position because of the school’s dedication to excellence. I

can bring additional knowledge, experience, and a caring person to this child centered

environment. I have always been intrigued by teaching young minds, and look forward to the

opportunity to serve the children in the community. I can give these young and impressionable

minds a chance to brighten their spirits, their minds, their self-esteem, and help them create a

sense of self-worth and accomplishment. Working for Head Start for 13 years has given me

direct insight as to how children learn and grow. Implementing lesson plans and

accommodating them as needed is an ongoing task that has become very helpful when working

with young children.

I am looking forward to the possibility of joining your school district. I can be contacted by

email Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely yours,

Amy N. Glover
