Topaz uses G.711 A-law with 20ms payload as a default. IPS uses G.711 mu-law with 20ms
payload as a default. Here are the commands to consider if you want to change it.

5.5. CODEC
IPS uses G.711 mu-law with 20ms payload as a default. Topaz uses G.711 A-law with 20ms
payload as a default. The following commands allow modification to the default settings. See
sections 4.6 for compatibility with Topaz settings.

BA YY=21 00 0-7 CODEC priority. Default pattern (7):
(Profile number) (pattern 0-7) G.711 mu-law.
NOTE: value 0 means that the list is
programmable in CM BA YY=121,
122, 123.
BA YY=22 1-3 Payload size. Default value: 40ms.
(20ms-40ms) NOTE: If CMBA YY=21 is set to 1 or
7, then the payload size is fixed to
20ms.
BA YY=121 01, 02, 03 CODEC type priorities 1, 2, 3.
BA YY=122 (G.711 mu- NOTE: those values are available when
BA YY=123 law, G.711 A- CM BA YY=21 is set to 0.
