their company for 2 years , they will be providing a vehicle.

Evaluation of the Existing Organizational Structure
The principal asked the subject area coordinators their evaluation of the existing structure. The
coordinators gave the following advantages and disadvantages of having one coordinator.

Advantages Disadvantages
One common policy is used. The bulk of work is overwhelming since there are
more plans and grades to check and teachers to
supervise.
There is assurance of spiral progression of The quality of supervision among teachers is
competencies. affected because of paper work to be
accomplished.
It is difficult when there are two or more absentee
teachers.
During substitution, the JHS coordinators find it
difficult to teach the elementary because of not
being used to manage young learners while the
elementary coordinators need to really study the
content.
Enrichment of curricular offering is affected since
the number of academic contests/activities is
lessened.

For most of the coordinators, it would be better to have separate coordinators for elementary
and junior high school levels. These are the advantages and disadvantages they gave.

Advantages Disadvantages
Better supervision of teachers is assured. Difference in policy/procedure can sometimes be
observed.
Curricular offering of the school is enriched
through additional programs and contests that can
be spearheaded.
Substitution is easier.

One of the suggestions raised to lessen the plans being checked is to complete the
learning plan for a quarter during summer or come up with a syllabus.

GRADES
Call the parents if there are significant changes. For varsity players who are not complying with
requirements, they should be under suspension. Mr. Enriquez said that he will inform the coaches.

INDEPENDENT READING PROGRAM

Request to hire two teachers for the IRP since the Reading Implementers who are not English
teachers expressed their difficulty was raised by Mrs. Buhat. Mrs. Bagon explained that it would incur
additional expenses for the school and it would be impossible since it is a special program.
Narrative Report
Mrs. Pelingon announced that the advisers may start writing the narrative reports of children
using the GTI and it will be open for a certain period of time. Mrs. Bagon requested Mrs. Pelingon to give
a longer period of time for this purpose and to have it open now because some teachers are starting as
early as February.

Migration and Development Program

Mrs. Medina echoed to the group the meeting she attended in the division office.
According to her there is a need to prepare a program for children of OFW. Work plan for 2018,
