Integrated Balancer Platform (IBP) Software

GENERAL OVERVIEW: ______________________________________________________

With the release of the new Integrated Balancer Platform (IBP) electronic box there has been some confusion
on which secure disk should be used in which balancer. This TSB outlines the 3 different secure disk. There
is currently 2 versions of the JBC digital balancer (Revision A and Revision B). Revision A JBC balancers have
the black touch panel whereas the Revision B has the red touch panels. Revision A Snapon balancers have
the 2 knobs on the panel whereas the Revision B have NO knobs.

NOTE: THIS SOFTWARE ONLY SUPPORTS BALANCERS USING THE IBP ELECTRONIC BOX. BAL-
ANCER USING THE OLDER ELECTRONIC BOX STILL REQUIRE THE PROGRAMMED EEPROM
SOFTWARE CHIP. BALANCER USING THE EEPROM ELECTRONIC BOX CAN BE CONVERT-
ED TO THE IBP PLATFORM USING THE PROPER INSTRUCTIONS.

This software has been made available for download using a secure sight. http://www.snaponequipment.com/
techsupport/ServiceSoftware/SoftwareMatrix/Y2KBalancerMatrix.htm It is highly suggested that the instruc-
tions be read and fully understood before attempting the download and loading procedures. Failure to follow
the loading instructions could result in major errors.
