1.SUBJECT : EDTECH 1

TOPIC : INTRODUCTION TO EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA: HANDOUTS,DLP,COMPUTER,POWERPOINT

B. The chapter provides an excellent introduction to instructional systems design and how it. The
authors introduce instructional curriculum maps that show the relationships among instructional
objectives . Professionals who have been introduced to the ID process .

C.

The purpose of this discussion is to explain and sharpen different points of view about the impact of
media and attributes of media on learning, motivation and efficiency gains from instruction. This
paper is an attempt to summarize my arguments about the research and theory in this area and to
respond to Robert Kozma's criticism of my earlier discussion of these issues.

TOPIC:LEARNING THEORIES AND ITS IMPLICATION TO EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA: : HANDOUTS,DLP,COMPUTER,POWERPOINT

B. This review will explore the influences of technology integration into pre-service teacher education
programs from the constructivist and behaviorist perspectives for the ultimate aim of improving student
learning and pre-service teacher training. A wide range of research is cited, including research articles,
books, comparison studies, case studies, government records, dissertations and web sites. The study
concludes that technology integration representing learning from technology (behaviorist perspective) is
not the most effective way to improve learning although it helps learners to perform the lower level
subskills automatically. On the other hand, constructivist-learning environments representing learning
with technology, which encourages learners to actively process and organize information by making
internal cognitive connections, can well provide the theoretical framework for the effective technology
integration.

C. Using technology in the Classroom Learning Program is an integral part of linking teachers to their
students. In this digital age the importance of understanding technology will become key to the success
of students.

TOPIC:THE ROLES OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY IN LEARNING

INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA: HANDOUTS,DLP,COMPUTER,POWERPOINT

B. Educational Technology has absolutely revolutionized the entire education system. Until recently, the
teachers used to be the sole interpreter of knowledge to the learners and the textbooks the sole
resource. Educational technology has affected the conventional roles and it has opened up the new
areas of teacher functions such as management of resources and management of learning. Today,
teachers have a range of media to assist and supplement the instructional work.

Teachers can even specify the learning intentions, select the topic, identify the stimulus situation,
determine media, manage teaching and finally conduct evaluation and modify the instructions in the
light of evaluation results.

C.

Information technologies have affected every aspect of human activity and have a potential role to play
in the field of education and training, specially, in distance education to transform it into an innovative
form of experience. The need of new technologies in teaching learning process grows stronger and
faster. The information age becomes an era of knowledge providing sound and unmatched feasibility for
discovery, exchange of information, communication and exploration to strengthen the teaching learning
process.
