五元功 Five Elements Meditation

I. Preparetion

II. Practice :

1. When you inhale , imagine that the green colour energy from
the east enters your nose and sweat pores to get into your
liver and gallbladder ; when you exhale , utter the sound “ Xu
” for 8 times ;
2. When you inhale , imagine that the red colour energy from
the south enters your nose and sweat pores to get into your
heart and small intestine ; when you exhale , utter the sound “
HE ” for 8 times ;
3. When you inhale , imagine that the yellow colour energy
from the southwest and northeast enters your nose and sweat
pores to get into your spleen and stomach ; when you
exhale , utter the sound “ HU ” for 8 times ;
4. When you inhale , imagine that the white colour energy from
the west enters your nose and sweat pores to get into your
lungs and large intestine ; when you exhale , utter the sound “
SI” for 8 times ;
5. When you inhale , imagine that the black or blue colour
energy from the north enters your nose and sweat pores to
get into your kidneys and urinary bladder ; when you exhale ,
utter the sound “ CHUI ” for 8 times ;
6. Five elements movement ( liver/--- heart---spleen---lungs---
kidneys---liver… ) for 3 times .

III. Ending form :


Deep breathe when you inhale ; when you exhale , utter the
sound “ XI ” ; ( 3
times )
