The Word of the Day is malliy ["ma.LIj] (in QUZ ) (See example 1).

=to.taste -Inf
’to try, to taste food or a drink (and comment on its quality and
flavor)’
In English it means to try, to taste food or a drink (and
comment on its quality and flavor), it is spelled:
m-a-l-l-i-y.

 Now let’s repeat it 3 times: malliy, malliy, malliy.

Now listen to it in context (See example 2):

=mikhu+na -ta =malli -y

kachiyuqchus icha manachus
=kachi -yuq -chu -s =icha =mana -chu -s

’Taste the food, I don’t remember if I seasoned it with salt.’
This sentence translated into English means ’Taste the food, I don’t
remember if I seasoned it with salt’.

First time:
