Research Title Time in Management and Engagement (TIME):
A Solution to unproductive and disengagement
of Teachers during class hours in Sta. Catalina
Colleges Biñan.
I. Context and According to Deped Biñan “The work immersion
Rationale program is a key feature of the senior high school
curriculum that targets to provide learners with
opportunities to become familiar with the workplace, for
employment simulation and to apply their
competencies in an authentic work environment.” It
said that we can’t accomplish the work immersion
without facing a problems, in this scenario we the
group of students encountered an problem that has a
solution.
According to Brophy 1986 “Time is important. This is a
consistent theme throughout the research, regardless
of whether the findings are from studies comparing
effective and ineffective teachers in the United States
or from studies comparing the effectiveness of
instruction in basic skills across different countries.”
One of the circumstances that a student facing
nowadays is the teachers who break the rules of the
school, they didn’t follow their time task to have a
lecture on their respective students.
Even though there is a private school that can afford
the teacher salary, but they will teach their student
according to their time task and don’t escape to their
work time.
The project TIME (Time In Management and
Engagement) Discovered by a group of students in
Southville 5A National High School, wishes to apply by
the teachers in Sta. Catalina College Biñan to have a
better time teaching task to their student.
The TIME is a project that helps the
principal/coordinator to monitor the teacher working to
their school the time that they had done every day.

important role teacher’s play in supporting students’
development in areas beyond their core academic skill-

important in the field of education. TMSs are especially
critical for teachers, since, like all professionals,
teachers need to perform well to improve their
performance. Teachers work as architects, building
children’s future and, thus, the future of the world-
(Grissom, Loeb, & Master, 2013; May, Huff, & Goldring,
2012) Time management (TM) is the process of
determining needs, setting of goals, prioritising and
planning the tasks to achieve the organisational goals
(Lakein, 1973), where a significant relation has been
found between job stress and TM variables and
employees’ goal setting, planning and performance
evaluation (Khodaveisi, Bahar & Ahmadi, 2015).
