 Design supervisor for 10 designers.
 Prioritized, assigned, and tracked daily activities of the geographically dispersed design team with members in the
US, China, the Czech Republic, and South Korea.
 Full departmental licensing and Systems Administrator Responsibilities for a multinational business department
encompassing North America, Europe, and Asia. With over 50 Engineers and designers and 16 licenses.
 Full human resources managerial responsibilities including talent acquisition, yearly reviews, performance
improvement plans, conflict resolution, moral building and benefits determination.
 Increased efficiencies by 50% by standardizing design work templates.
 Worked directly with engineering to ensure prototype builds will meet timing, parts meet customers’ expectations
and parts are manufacture able.

 Designed all aluminum body panels, interior wall, sliding doors, shelving for UPS, FedEx, Delivery truck for linens
& general use.
 Worked in the plant as the design contact that would trouble shoot problems on the assembly line. Solved
problems then reported back to engineering. Reduced down time by 25%.
 Served as VA/VE Engineer to develop cost saving initiatives focused on reducing complexity and to utilize
common parts. Drove a design/redesign change initiative resulting in a $45,000 per year savings.

Design Engineer - Navistar International (Contract) 5/2011 – 10/2012


 Focused on the military area of air hydraulic brakes. (ITAR certified).
 Worked on hydraulic brake lines, brackets and packaging of brake lines.
 Worked on cab compartment packaging components for military vehicles.

parts. Once identified I entered a change notice to modify the parts resulting in time savings measured in weeks.

 Coordinated part changes with other engineering facilities for production changes by contacting resident
