answer the questions. OK? The questionnaire is called, "Do you have a weekly
routine?" Please answer "Yes, I do" or "No, I don't." Ready? Number 1. Do you
play sports every week? Answer "Yes, I do" or "No, I don't."
David Me? I don't play sports every week. My answer is "No, I don't."

Chandra Hello. My name is Chandra, and I'm a student at City College. This is a video
project for my English class about things people do at home in the evenings. I
asked six people, "What did you do last night?" . . . So, what did you do last night
. . . um?
Josh I'm Josh. Let me think. I stayed home, played a video game with some friends, and
listened to music. That's it.
Chandra That sounds fun. And how about you?
Mari I'm Mari. I tried to study for a math exam while my roommate practiced her flute.
Chandra Oh, interesting. And you. What did you do last night?
Peter Well, I'm Peter. And my wife rented a movie, so we watched that. But I didn't like it
much.

Mom We're not home right now. Please leave a message.
Ellen Hi, Mom and Dad! I need some help fast! I invited some friends for dinner tonight,
and I don't know what to cook.
Amy's a vegetarian, so she doesn't eat meat, fish, cheese, or eggs. I guess she just
eats a lot of fruit and vegetables, and maybe rice.
Juan's on a diet. He can't eat much rice, bread, or pasta. But he eats a lot of meat,
cheese, eggs, and vegetables, like carrots and cucumbers.
And David is picky – I mean, he doesn't eat many vegetables. And he's allergic to milk
and shellfish. But he likes potatoes. Oh, and bananas. Please call me! Bye.

Carrie Let's take a break for lunch.
Henry Sure. Would you like to go out or . . . ?
Carrie Well, I just want a sandwich or something.
