NOTE
1. As per University policy, the University reserves the right not to consider any application or fill any
post without giving any reason. Therefore, all University faculty positions for the posts of Lecturers
pertaining to Sub-Campuses Bhakkar & Mianwali advertised previously till December, 2015 which
have not been processed till date stand cancelled. The applicants of previous advertisements are
requested to kindly submit fresh applications if interested for the above mentioned positions.
However, such applicants need not to deposit the processing fee prescribed for the post(s).
2. The faculty members who are working on contract/adhoc basis should apply against above regular
positions. If they fail to apply or are not selected in recruitment process, their contract shall stand
terminated.
Qualification:-
First Class Master’s Degree or equivalent degree awarded after 16 Years of education in the relevant field from an
HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or
Degree Awarding Institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz. M.Phil./Ph.D or equivalent degree
with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
Furthermore, the candidate with 2nd division in the Master’s Degree but holding higher degree i.e. M.Phil/ Ph.D or
equivalent degree with 18 years of education may be considered.
Note: Preference shall be given to M.Phil/MS degree holders.
Minimum Qualifications:-
Master’s Degree / B.Sc (Engr.) (First Class) in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3 rd
division in the academic career.

GENERAL INFORMATION
 Only short listed candidates will be called
for Test / Interview.
 The prescribed application form can be
downloaded from University of Sargodha website: www.uos.edu.pk.
 Candidates for all positions are required to
fill the application form in MS Word and submit three copies in case of Professor & Associate Professor and
one copy of application in case of others along with complete C.V and attested copies of testimonials in both
hard and soft form (CD/DVD).
 Candidates applying for more than one
post shall submit separate application with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
 Applications must be accompanied with
original bank deposit slip/University Challan Form of Rs. 1000/- in case of Professor & Associate Professor
and Rs.500/- in case of others as processing fee (non-refundable) to be deposited under Head of Account
“Collection” in HBL A/C No. 00427991777803, University of Sargodha.
 Two most recent passport size
photographs should be affixed on each application.
 Candidates already in service of a
Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by
the due date; otherwise their applications shall not be entertained.
 Applications received after the last date will
not be entertained.
 Incomplete applications shall also not be
entertained.
