PAPERS Presented a Paper titled, ‘Worklife of Indian Transgender’, at National Seminar: Third
Gender Rights- Emerging Trends and Issues, organised by IMS Unison University, and
held at IMS Unison University, Dehradun, between 5 th–6th February, 2016. The Seminar
was inaugurated with a moving speech by Shabhnam Mausi, the first Transgender to
hold a public office in India, which was followed by speeches and discussions with other
dignitaries who have been a significant participant in the area and were very well
informed. The two day seminar was highly educating and insightful. Specially Gender
Equality being my personal favourite area of study, the seminar broadened my
perspective and helped me in learning more about the subjec

PERSONAL I am interested in reading, writing, singing and love political discussions. I love travelling
and had been in many parts of the country. The places related with the history of the
glorious civilizations that nurtured in India please me. I believe in gender equality in its
true sense, thus a feminist and I have been doing social work, for bringing awareness
among rural women regarding various issues, along with a local organization at my native
place.
