Marketing promotion is defined as process through which firms creates value of its product by fulfilling

customer’s needs, not only creating value but convincing customers to buy it.

The 6Ms model explain steps of communicating. i.e Market, Mission, Message, Media, Money,
Measurement under which first three elements explains strategy part and remaining explain
implementation part.

Later, it talks about consumers buying process which involves creating brand awareness, convincing him
to prefer their product over other and repeat the purchase. Different firms may eliminate or add step
based on the type of business.

There are different tools which marketers uses to do the same like

1) Advertising: It is way of persuading customers by sending their message. It can be distinguish on


the basis of feedback and customization. It is hard to get feedback if we uses television as
advertising tool but it is possible using telemarketing. But television reaches to larger customer
base.
