6. LETTER WRITING

You were told a cheap and reliable website from where you can order laptops.

Write a letter in which you order a laptop on the internet.

Specify:

-the price you want to spend on it

-ask information and suggestion of the seller

-the payment method (PayPal, bank card etc…)

-ask about shipping and costs

-ask one more additional information of your choice

Sample:

Dear Sir or Madame,

I would like to order a laptop that I saw on your website.

It is the ASUS DL342 model. I do not want to spend more than 1000 dollars on it, and
this has just the right price. However, I also found other promising models, but I am
not an expert of the area, so I would like you to help me to decide, which one is the
best concerning this price range.

I did not see PayPal as a valid payment method on the site, but I have an account
with which I would pay for the laptop, if it is acceptable for you. What kind of shipping
do you use to Hungary? Via air or ship? I do not care about how fast it is, so I would
like the cheaper method of delivery. Please send me the price of shipping as well.
Additionally I also want a mouse and a separate keyboard to the laptop for 100
dollars. Would you offer me something for that price?

Please contact me about your suggestions and offers as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance.

Yours Faithfully,

Fred Funny
