∙ Our hospital was established and has been operated by the religious corporation, A. This religious corporation has branches in 43 countries around the world. Presently, a nun from the Indonesian branch is working in Japan. This will be a great help for promoting this EPA Program. ∙ Our convent has a sister organization, called the A Order, which is a monastery. This monastery is an educational institution for priests (fathers). Presently, there are some Indonesian theological students, and some priests are staying at this monastery. ∙ Our hospital was established in 1945, just after World War II, in extremely strained circumstances, by the convent to help people in need of medical care. ∙ Our medical ethics are based on Catholic beliefs, offering medical care with “With Love and Service in Mind.”

In 1971, obtained a nursing license and started to work at a ward in the Holy Spirit Hospital. In 1975, became the head of outpatient department. In 1977, became the clinical coach. In 1982, became the head nurse of the ward. In 1988, became the head of education. In 2003, became the head nurse of the ward management. In 2003, became the deputy manager of the nurse department. In 2004, became the manager of the nurse department ,coming down to the present.

Has served in Holy Spirit Hospital for 40 years as one of the third students at the vocational school of nursing attached to Holy Spirit Hospital, taking advantage of “love and service” spirit, the idea from the hospital foundation, to operate the nursing department, and putting it into practice in developing nursing rooted in local nursing ( the vocational school of nursing was closed in 2004).

The women’s Mission Congregation, Servants of the Holy Spirit, which is a parent organization of foundation of the corporation, is in close proximity to us and some missionary sisters from Indonesia belong to it. And in a similar way, the Society of the Divine Word (training priests, founder of Nanzan Gakuen) is in close proximity to us and has close ties to our hospital. Some priests and theological students from Indonesia belong to it and so it is possible to communicate with trainees about Japanese lifestyle.
