INTRODUCTION

Being promoted is one of the employee’s desire. It is very important to be promoted because
it show the improvement in the employee’s work performance. When an employee is being
promoted it means that the responsibility is become greater beside the salary also become
increases. Promotion shows the movement of an employee from one position to another better
position. But , it is being employer’s responsibility to choose the right person for the right position.
Every promotion must followed the rules of regulations. But nowadays the promotion of public
officers is not according to the rules and regulation of promotion anymore. There were many
integrity issue in promotion of public officers. Hence, the paper is begin with the first part that
discuss on the integrity issues in promotion. In this part, this assignment will defined the definition
of integrity and what is the integrity issue in promotion that happen nowadays. In addition, the
solution for each integrity issue that had brought up also will be stated in the first part of this
assignment.

Next is the major part of this paper that is explain about the promotion of public officer. In this
part, the assignment will define what is the promotion. Beside that, this part of the assignment will
explain further about the promotion of public officer ; what is the basic of promotion , then what
are rhe requirements of promotion and so on.

Last but not least, the conclusion of the whole assignment is at last section of this work.
Integrity Issues In Promotion

Integrity is one of the fundamental values that employers seek in the employees that they hire. It
is the hallmark of a person who demonstrates sound moral and ethical principles at work. A person
who has integrity lives his or her values in relationships with coworkers, customers, and
stakeholders. Honesty and trust are central to integrity. Acting with honor and truthfulness are
also basic tenets in a person with integrity. People who demonstrate integrity draw others to them
because they are trustworthy and dependable. They are principled and can be counted on to
behave in honorable ways even when no one is watching.
