St. Anne’s Notes……

 St. Anne's Altar Society will be holding their quarterly meeting after mass in the St. Joseph School
basement on Sunday, April 15. St. Anne's purpose is to "organize all the women of the Parish in one
Society for the spiritual and material welfare of the Parish". We invite all current St. Anne's members and
lady parishioners 18 years or over with a desire to join the Altar Society to attend. We have new ideas to
further the mission of the Society & would enjoy member input. The annual membership fee is $3.00.
 The Spring Festival worklist will be published next weekend in the bulletin.
 Have you paid your $30 Social Support? There is a blue envelope for this purpose in your last mailing of
offertory envelopes. OR you may make your check payable to St. Joseph Church and drop in the
collection in an envelope marked “social support” OR you can always just mail it to the church. THANKS!

There are application forms and more information regarding St. Joseph Endowment scholarships for Sacred
Heart School available in the church vestibule. The scholarships will be available beginning with the 2018-
2019 school year to registered members of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe, KS who have children attending
kindergarten through 5th grade at Sacred Heart School. Scholarships are for one year only and must be
requested each year.

Parish Registration
Your registration and support of the parish is important especially when you request baptism,
marriage, or any pastoral letter, etc. While some of us are not accustomed to registering with the
church community for various reasons; registering in the parish is very convenient when you
find yourself in need of services. If you are not yet registered in St. Joseph Parish, and wish to do
so, there are registration forms available in the church vestibule on the table. OR, call the
rectory at 620-475-3326. We are very excited about the growth and stability of our parish; and
graciously welcome all new parishioners!
will be held July 9-13 this year. Please mark your calendars and help us
SPREAD THE WORD. This is an experience you won’t want your kids to miss!

“THANK YOU” just doesn’t suffice for what one has received ,especially when those who so
freely give are not looking for thanks, but would prefer to remain hidden. HOWEVER, on
behalf of all parishioners, we would like to thank the many hands that helped to make
this Lent and Holy Week prayerful and special. Thanks to the Greeters, Ushers, Altar Servers,
Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Gift Bearers, the CCD students, and Choir who so faithfully
and respectfully shared with us their gifts and talents. Thanks to the sacristans and those
who decorate our church and donate towards flowers to ensure that our sacred space looks
beautiful during all of our liturgies. Thanks to those who maintain our grounds, to the
Knights of Columbus members for leading and assisting at Stations of the Cross, and to
those who helped with the Children’s Easter eggs. It is our sincere hope and prayer, that
you may all have a peaceful Easter Season, full of life and joy. God’s Blessings to all!
