Each stage of interaction includes some risks for successful communication according to faculty

the defense

according to Lena Argosino 2014, she said that the thesis is one thing which is the hardest, the
most expensive and friendship wrecking thing in college life, but they always think that it will be
their ticket to graduate so they didn’t stop and have hope. In their room in which they will
conduct their final defense they were enjoying the moment in which it is like they were not
preparing for something big but instead they capture the moments and laughing at each other
even though they are frightened. She said that the defense was the opportunity that you will be
able to present your own work, and it is the feeling of survival because you will feel the relief of

PATIENCE

talaga sa research tiyaga, at a yun nga patience you need to extend and of course, more
readings kasi importante yun, you will not succeed in writing research if you don’t, if you only
have your own idea you need to consult other people you need to talk not only to your adviser
but to other people kasi dapat yung babasa ng research mo parang kwento kasi yan eh may
nagva-validate din kami kasi ganun kahit na ako as adviser binasa ko na siya ah alam kung
hindi ako masyadong sanay pa dito as giving advice nag seseek ako ng tulong sa iba ako
yung teacher na open mas lalo na sa mas tingin ko mas expert sakin so kailangan nila talaga
ng more patience at tsaka knowledge on writing thesis and ofcourse ah seek help from other
people not only to your adviser but remember you need to respect whatever in decision ng
adviser and kasi ako rin as adviser nirespeto ko yung estudyante ko kung ano yung gusto
niyang tahaking ah I mean the ah kung paano niya gustong marating yung thesis niya.

huhugutan nun patience.. diba.. lahat yun lang pinaghuhugutan nun.. patience.. and of course
syempre not to mention the standards diba.. may studyante talagang matalino at mataas ang
standards sa lahat ng output niya diba na hindi ka napapagod magisip kasi meron kang sariling
standards, hindi mo pliniplease yung professor mo, your trying to live within their standards may
ganung studyante.. may studyante naming kung anong sinabi ng teacher niya yun lang din ang

working on your thesis…… diba you have to be patience looking for relevant literature wag kang
bibigay kaagad na wala na.. wala na talagang pag asa ito nalang talaga wala na po kaming
nakita … kasi pag sinabi mo sakin yun dalawang bagay lang naman yun maniwala ko sayo o
hindi .. sa dalawang bagay nayun ikaw ang maapektuhan hindi ako thesis mo yun eh hindi ko
thesis yan.. lagi ko sinasabi sa studyante ko yan.. ikaw mag dadala niyan.. kung maganda
thesis mo dadalhin mo yan so kung niloloko mo ako na wala ka nang makita at hangang dun
lang.. hindi naman ako ang magdadala niyan eh ikaw.. diba lagi ko sinasabi yan sa studyante
ko.
TIME MANAGEMENT

common problem I encountered was the schedule of the students and then number two, the ah,
the ah indepthness on research meaning to say the knowledge about research and of course
the interest ah most of that most of the time maybe because of the, ah heavy academic load na
meron ang mga estudyante natin particular the mga Bachelor in Physical Education kasi ako I
am advising PE Majors and most of them are athletes so they were not able to fully ah
concentrate on thesis writing simply because they need to attend their practice their academics
and of course competing ah in most of the in all of the tournament, participated by PUP yon
siguro those our struggle time management nila.

Engineer Padriato Tanalito Jr. (personal communication, March 27, 2018) said that the
struggles my advises encountered would be financial problems, availability of the materials,
and time management, so this are normally I encountered with my class advisory during the
design project. During consultation naming, normally kasi yung ibang materials available galing
pa abroad, kaya nade-delay yung pagawa nila ng prototype nila para sa design project at tsaka
yung time management kasi, ah meron din silang mga ibang major subjects na meron din mga
requirement minsan nagsasabay-sabay yung kanilang mga ginagawa. Again time management
kasi dapat ah, usually they have this gun chart or table of activities and schedule, so they must
strictly follow this schedules and likewise for the materials they should be able to check whether
these materials are available locally so that they can ah purchase it in advance or they can look
for another resources that would be available in the market. Maybe I would advice would be
dedication, time management and funding ahm doing this research or doing our research would
be mostly requires a lot of time and effort so commitment is should be 100% for this endeavour.

you have to set your goal for every research activity like I was telling to my student you have
research plan.. pinapagawa ko yung mga studyante ko ng plano simula palang.. for the com
problem how do you plan to design your com problem within the day it should be measurable,
you should have your matrix within the day, two weeks.. para in two weeks time mag reresearch
ka.. tinitingan mo yung previous studies for you to come up with your own problem and when
you’re done with your problem, objectives.. ilang lingo ka dapat nag oobjective? Tatlong buwan?
Baka one year kana objectives kapa rin di kana umuusad.. diba.. bakit kasi yung iyung
organizational skills nakikita dun, second yun nga meron kasing give up ng give up eh
halimbawa but you have to plan for it … hindi pwedeng kaseset mo lang ng problems
nahihirapan ka mag research then sa following weeks revise ka na naman.. ma’am bago napo
yung topic ko ayaw kona po dun sa dati kong topic… kasi hindi ka nga nag papasensya..ang
aga mong nawawalan ng pag asa.. nasanay ka kasi sa instant … instant life.. instant
gratification .. laging ganun eh..
Relationships

those burdens and problems”. People who often communicate have a strong relationship. “The

tend to bring together seemingly different people.” When people set similar goals and objectives
they tend to create a great relationship – because they are aiming the same task. “Respect and
trust, the last two pillars of a good relationship, go hand in hand. People have good relationships
with people they respect and trust”. Trust comes with respect because the more you invest trust
the more you respect the decisions made by the person whom you trust and that may play a big
role in building a great relationship. “In conclusion, a good relationship isn’t simply supported by
just one thing, but supported by a number of things. A good relationship where two or more
people are connected through something, whether blood, marriage or mutual affection, needs a
steady dose of communication, similar objectives, respect, and trust – the four pillars for any
successful relationship.” Therefore, building great relationship with a person or group of people
is one way to create expected outcomes or result. These four pillars helps people to strengthen

According to an article from 2018 The Writing Center Writing in a group can have many
benefits: multiple brains are better than one, both for generating ideas and for getting a job
done. However, working in a group can sometimes be stressful because there are various
opinions and writing styles to incorporate into one final product that pleases everyone. In a
writing process members should share ideas and brainstorming together and formulate a draft
thesis or argument. According to this article keep in mind that working in a group provides a
unique opportunity to see how other people write; as you learn about their writing processes and
strategies, you can reflect on your own. Working in a group inherently involves some level of
negotiation, which will also facilitate your ability to skillfully work with others in the future.
According to the article, in comes of planning decide together who will write which parts of the
paper/project and separately each group member has his/her own portion of writing to do. This
may initially seem to be the best way to approach a group writing process, it can also generate
more work later on, when the parts written separately must be put together into a unified
document.
 According to April 9, 2013 Bethany Prykucki of Michigan State University Extension,

“Parliamentary procedure is one of the most effective means by which individuals can take

orderly action as a group. Depending on the skills that members have, the club can use simple,

informal or formal parliamentary procedures. Club officers as well as club members should learn

said that a youth or group of people will benefit in using parliamentary in actively learning

related to meetings where the parliamentary procedure is the accepted way in making decision,

According to University of Waterloo the members of the group must be open for

communication because one unspoken assumptions may lead to conflict or destruction of the

group, the members of the group must be open to the others because the group must know the

different background and interest of the members. Each member must be open to the ideas and

listen to others to elicit their ideas. The members must learn how to trust one another by the

idea they have because it develops honesty in every members. The members must also support

and help the members when they were facing difficulties and cheer up each other because you

were not competitor but collaborators or group mates also lastly you must respect each other in

terms of the idea they have and communicate in a respectful manner.

According to a blog of CJ Fitzsimons he said that it is important in research to have

productive environment that is conducive to performing great work. In this article he

suggested 5 ways to improve your research by improving cooperation. First is consider the

different behaviours of your members then encourage “supporting” or cooperative

behavioural norms in your team. Then create a task for each members. But don’t forget to

have a break with your groupmates have a coffee break where you and your members can

share ideas about the thesis work. If you know each other well the work well be very easy

because you know the strength and weaknesses of your members.

According to Ann Landers that Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding,

mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less

than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses. ( 2001-2018). Friendship is a matter

of understanding each other side through good and bad times. In addition, Srinivas Gunti (2013) said

Understanding someone means to have the ability to empathize with that person - being able to

think in the lines of what the other person is thinking, being able to reason out what transpired in

someone mind before doing what he/she has done. Having an ability to understand someone is the

skills of the person to be able to think what other person is thinking.
