Ss are divided in teams. Tch shows pictures of different characters and ss
have to work in pairs making dialogue, each correct dialogue earns a point
for the group. *Revision structures to describe people – What´s …(Emma)…
like? And difference with What does (Emma)…. Like?

Role plays!
Tch asks ss to dress up as doctors/ patients and hands out some cards with
different symptoms; first, she acts out the dialogue and shows ss how to use
the expressions. Then, ss come to the front of the class and act out the

dialogues in pairs. Tch gives them a sweet once they finish.
- I feel ill. / I don´t feel well.
- He / She feels ill. / He / She doesn´t feel well.

Moving around!!! Tch hands out some cards with symptoms, ss have to draw a
chart (information gap activity) and move around the classroom asking questions
to their classmates about the illnesses. They cannot use Spanish, if they do, they
have to dance an embarrassing choreography.
