Both of these systems are factory set and should not need any modification in the field unless this action is advised by Linde technical support. In this case the procedures advised must be strictly adhered to, 6.3.2.1.1 SETTING THE DRIVER CARDS. ‘The operating current is set at the driver cards within the Sistemi control box. The top card controls lift and lower actions, the bottom card controls extend and retract functions. Both cards are exactly the same and are interchangeable. Disconnect the battery Open the access cover on the Sistemi box. Disconnect the harness plugs (3). Remove the 2 top screws holding the driver card housing (2). : Loosen the 2 bottom screws holding the housing (2) sufficiently to remove the driver cards. Open the access panelin the rear of the driver card, the adjusters can be seen [ee NOTE. During adjustment of the potentiometers care should be exercised when rotating the screws as damage may be caused to the potentiometer by over rotation Gite. chapter 6 Page 26 Service Training ADJUSTMENT OF THE SISTEMI DRIVER CARDS. ‘The machine willbe correctly adjusted during manufacter and if new driver cards are fitted through the spares system these also should arrive correctly adjusted. In the event that the driver cards need adjustment on the advice of Technical service the following procedure should be adopted, Reconnect the battery. ‘Switch the ignition on Adjust the top driver card for the lift function. Hold the joystick in the maximum lift position ‘sing a current clamp, test the current within the wire ‘NP 3 during operation of the joystick, the current should be 1450 mA. The tolerance is minus zero plus 20 mA. Ifthe currentis not correctitcan be adjusted al the "Gain A" screw. Repeat this procedure with the current clamp on wire 5 and the joystick in the Maximum lower position. The setting currentis the same, the adjust mentis carried out on "Gain B" screw. Repeat the procedure on the bottom driver card to adjust the extend and retract functions. The procedures and setting are the same. TESTING THE SYSTEM OPERATION. Open the hydraulic compartment cover and locate the proportional valve solenoids (1) and the oressure test point (2). >lace a current clamp on the red wire of the lift solenoid (3). Place a pressure gauge into the test port (2) Start the engine and wait for the Sistemi unit to Complete the self test procedure Measure the current and the pressure as follows. At the start of the lift function Current 440mA + 40mA. Pressure 7 bar + 1 bar. At the maximum lift position Current 1450mA, -0/+20mA. Pressure 30 bar + 4 bar. Hfreadingsare incorrect the system must be investigated, soe 10D Liste. Chapter 6 Service Training Page a 6.3.3 READING THE SYSTEM DATA AND PARAMETERS. The load safety computer has two menus, the operative in which the system data and parameters can read and checked and the program menu in which the data and parameters can be changed on the instructions of LHTD only. A passcode is required for the program menu. One of the functions controled by the computer system is the joystick The joystick assembly controls the hydraulic system electronically in conjunction with the Sistemi load safely system. Operation of the joystick backwards or forwards will contol lift and lower as well as the extend and retract functions by moving the joystick from side to side. The buttons control spreader beam functions and a seperate rocker type switch operates the twistlocks. The joystick parameters may be read at the LCD display on the end of the LED load safety bar in the cabin. When the ignition key is turned on with the engine not running, pressing and holding the F2 button on the end of the bar will permit entry into the operative menu of the sistemi computer systen Gime. Shapter 6 Service Training Page 28 On the right hand end of the LED bar is the computer screen where the system functions and settings can be seen. Each time the F2 button is pressed the computer scrolls through each operative screen to permit reading of parameters. On the left hand end of the LED bar are the buttons that permit the scrolling through, acceptance, modification and saving of parameters. The functions are:~ F1 Scroll up through menu.
