PASSIVE VOICE: PRESENT PERFECT

 HAVE OR HAS + been+past participle.


ACTIVE VOICE:
1. They have painted the door. (present perfect)

PASSIVE VOICE:
The door has been painted.
have or has + been + past participle.
Exercise :

PASSIVE VOICE: Present Continuous

(AM /IS/ARE+BEING) + Past participle.


ACTIVE VOICE:
The mailman is sending the letter now. (Present continuous)
PASSIVE VOICE:
The letter is being sent by the mailman
Am-is/are + “being” + past participle.
Exercise:
1. The student is using his cell phone in class.
2. The student is completing the exercise.
3. He is selling fruit every day.
PASSIVE VOICE: Past Continuous
Was+being+past participle
1. The mailman was sending the letter when I met him.
(past continuous)
The letter “was being sent” by the mailman when I met
him.

1. The teacher was giving the grades when the student arrived.
2. The student was using his cellphone when the teacher saw him.

Will+be+past participle
1. The mailman will send the letter later. (future)
The letter will be sent by the mailman

Will + BE + PAST PARTICIPLE

2. They will play soccer tomorrow.


Soccer will be played by them tomorrow.

PASSIVE VOICE: be+going to

Am/is/are +going to+be+past participle

2. The teacher is going to give the exam to the students tomorrow.


The exam is going to be given to the students tomorrow.
3. The doctor is going to give the results of the exams to his patients in two weeks.
The results of the exams are going to BE GIVEN to his patients in two weeks.
4. He is going to pay his debt on Monday.
His debt is going to BE PAID on Monday.
