Note   that   the   lab   exam   schedule   is   uploaded   on   moodle   and   is   put   up   in   the  
notice  board  in  the  Machines  Laboratory  (ESB102).  
 
How  will  be  the  exam?  
Each  individual  will  get  a  separate  question  paper.    
The   tasks   given   to   you   in   the   exam   may   cover   only   a   small   part   of   an   experiment  
that  you  must  have  done  in  your  regular  lab  session.    
 
What  is  the  duration  of  the  exam?  
Maximum  time  for  the  exam  is  90  minutes  only!  
 
How  do  we  evaluate?    
Based  on  the  question  you  get,  you  will  be  required  to:  
a) develop  relevant  circuit  diagram/s  
b) write  necessary  important  precautions  
c) orally  explain  the  procedure  for  conduct  of  the  exam  (to  the  examiner)  
d) make  electrical  connections  
e) perform  necessary  experiment/s,    
f) show  calculations  and  present  the  results  
 
Marks  will  be  awarded  for  the  above  steps.
