MOTIVATIONAL SPEECH

THE SUCCESS THAT PAY`S ITS SELF

This is a document of life which can inspire, motivate and give you the success you
wealth because a life without meaning, without drive or focus, without dreams or goals,
isn't a life worth living. Success will be within your reach only when you start reaching
out for it. No matter how small you start, always dream big and believe in your infinite
potential. Your only limitations are those you set upon yourself.

Ladies and Gentlemen

I am humbly honored to be chosen to conduct a motivational talk in front of the Minister of

Education, Hon Bright Masaka SC, the Rt Rev Bishop Malasa,Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of
Upper Shire, all Malosa Secondary School Alumni and Ladies and Gentlemen.
I am Misael Buliani, one of Malawi`s motivational speaker, recognized social innovator in Malawi,
a young innovative entrepreneur recognized by Amplified Business in UK, an Innovation and IP
Specialist-IT Field, currently working as the Acting Innovation Department Manager at
Polytechnic College, newly appointed National Ambassador for Beta Me better Africa, Malawi
consular Office.
Malawi is one of the developing countries which is promoting and empowering youth job creation
activities. Malawi aims to achieve a 90% economic growth rate and sustain it up to the year 2030
and going forward; this aim can only be achieved if the youth, whose population is about 18.6
million and out of which 75% are economically inactive. I being one of the youth and role models
in Malawi, I decided to take a step and help Malawi reaching the 90% by contributing a lot towards
community development in Malawi by a business venture that I started that is generating money
assisting me and my family and also assisting my projects towards community development
through introduction of different innovative programs. I am also assisting and contributing towards
job creation in Malawi through recruitment of interns and volunteers. I was so dedicated towards
the value I wealth, but looking at the rural areas how life is, it made the establishment of Chiponde
Development Project a community based Initiative which is focusing on developing rural areas by
promoting and empowering.
In life if you want to succeed you have to believe in yourself (be yourself). I always know who I
am and what I want. It’s important to always be who you are. I believed in myself that’s why I
went and applied for the position of a National Ambassador for Beta Me Better Africa, I believed
that it’s possible and I can give an impact to Malawi to the problems the country is facing. Its time
ladies and gentlemen to know who you are and be yourself.
I am someone who is persistent in whatever I do. No matter what challenges I face, how
organizations, individuals resist to support my social impact programs, I still have courage and
move forward. I still persist until I achieve what I aimed to contribute towards development. My

persistence makes me rise up when I fall and continue with my journey until I reach the destination.
Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can't practice any
other virtue consistently. It’s time for you all Malosa students, alumni and everyone present here,
you persist until you achieve your goal, no matter how many times people call you failures but
persistence is the only key to success, never get tired continue with your dreams.
"Keep Going, Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going.
Tough situations build strong people in the end."
This all achievements are available to me because I am a person who is flexible, adaptable and
able to manage multiple priorities at the same time, all of this makes me believe that I would be a
strong youth to change Malawi to a better Nation. As a driven individual who wants to progress, I
always look to work in an energetic and performance-driven environment where talent is not
overlooked.
I am renowned for being able to motivate, mobilize, and coach my fellow colleagues to meet high
performance standards. I can easily work with others in a professional manner while attempting to
achieve a common goal, I am a sociable person who has a natural ability of talking to, and building
relationships with, all kinds of people. I also consider myself to be a personable professional whose
strengths include cultural sensitivity and an ability to build rapport with a diverse workforce in
multicultural settings.
One of my strongest points is my self-motivation which allows me to perform well under pressure
and against aggressive deadlines in any pressurized environment. Being a highly analytical thinker
I am able to quickly identify, scrutinize, improve, and streamline complex work processes.
"You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It won’t happen automatically. You
will have to rise up and say, ‘I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m
not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life."

“Everything started as nothing, if you want to do it, do it now. If you don’t, you’re going to regret
it. One of the huge mistakes people make is that they try to force an interest on themselves. You
don’t choose your passions; your passions choose you.”
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future.

Every step in my life and in business had already been ordered for me before I was even born. God
did not reveal his plans to me all at once because I could not handle them. He gives me just glimpse
through visions and dreams, but his plans for me all is to live a prosperous life.

When I think about how good God has been to me, my family, and my business I could cry tears
of joy for hours. I hope that these words from the Bible and my translation have blessed you in
your business. I know the road is rough at times, but God’s got your back. He loves you, and if
you give your heart him and let him use you to bless others, he will give you the desires of your
heart.

interests and your voice. I care about making sure development opportunities are as equally
