PRE-KNOWLEDGE

Students are familiar with different religions from prior lesson, also students have seen
different places of worship in their communities.

SET INDUCTION

Technology Integration: Photo collage of different places of worship. Teacher ask students-
what they notice about the pictures? What are these buildings used for?

Introduces the lesson for the day.

SECTIONAL REVIEW

Some students were unfamiliar with certain terms: reverence, adoration, synagogue, so greater
focus on vocabulary was needed. This went longer than expected/planned.

TEACHER’S EVALUATION OF THE LESSON

Overall, the lesson went well. I will be using the PowerPoint again in the future, and may
consider using a crossword puzzle to assist with vocabulary.
