Parent-Teacher Confer-
ences are a very im-
portant time during the
school year! I encourage
you to bring questions
and concerns when you
come!
During the conference I
will show you some of your student’s
work from the year! You will get to take
that home with you at the end of your
conference.
I will also show you their progress on
the STARS reading and math tests.
These tests are meant to measure stu-
dent growth throughout the school year!
Next, I will show you the student re-
flection activity that we did in class. The
student’s ranked themselves on a scale
from 0-3 on several areas that pertain
to our classroom.
Finally, I will discuss the Accelerated
Reader benchmarks that are required
and where your student is currently sit-
ting.
Throughout the entire conference I
encourage you to ask questions and voice
any concerns that you may have! At the
end of the conference there will also be
