The Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) located in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking candidates for the position of
Manager, Public Markets Reporting and Analysis.

This is a non-civil service senior management position classified as a Jr. Investment Accounting Specialist reporting to an Investment
Accounting Specialist. The position is primary responsible for reviewing, supervising and analyzing public markets investment accounting and
operations activities to include the research, analysis and staff training for the Pension Fund's (Fund) $49 billion complex and diverse investment
portfolio. This position also assists the Investment Accounting Specialist with various General Accounting activities.
Specific duties include monitoring staff of professional accountants engaged in reviewing monthly reconciliations of cost, market, purchases,
sales, accruals, pending trades, income, income accruals, unrealized and realized currency and security gains/losses, and maintenance margins
to the general ledger for completeness and accuracy between the investment accounting system and the custodial bank.
The custodial bank in the Public Markets Reporting and Analysis Section include the System's global equity, domestic equity, global fixed
income, domestic fixed income, collective trust funds, short-term, and healthcare investment composites.
Serve as a liaison with the custodial bank which includes Public Market's routine involvement in managing the collateral arrangements for
investment managers and brokers. A strong technical understanding of investment accounting principles and procedures for a variety of
complex transactions and various asset classes is required.
The candidate must have the ability to understand and manage Application Service Provider arrangements and the interface with investment
accounting, investment operations and Information Technology professionals. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices,
and auditing standards and their application to investment accounting and governmental pension plans is essential.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Knowledge of complex global custody and investment operations policies,
procedures and trends is desired.
Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree; and two or more years of professional accounting or auditing experience; which includes one or more
years of professional investment accounting, investment auditing or investment operations experience. Business-related Master's degree or
designation as a Certified Public Accountant may be substituted for one year of general accounting or auditing experience.

structure for its Investment Professionals, as follows:
