The set of StarLionr A6+ car alarm system includes:

1 main LCD remote control, 1 additional one-way remote control, central processing unit, transceiver
module with the antenna and temperature sensor, 2-level impact sensor, LED indicator, Valet service

Remote controls
The car alarm system performs the built-in functions either automatically or according to the signals of a
remote control, when its buttons are pressed. A part of built-in functions and some parameters of system's
work can be changed by means of programming.
StarLionr A6+ car alarm system has a three-button remote control with a LCD display. The task of Button
1 of remote control is programmable. The task of Button 2 is quickly chosen by moving the cursor around
the display of remote control with the help of Button 3. When the buttons of remote control are pressed,
the fluorescent lighting of display is turned on for a few seconds.
When the alarm system executes the commands of remote control, the relevant information appears on
the display with a melodious sound signal.
When the alarm system performs any actions automatically, the relevant information also appears on the
display of remote control, followed by sound signals or vibration,
If more than one remote control is used to control the alarm system, the status of car and car alarm system
will appear only on the display of remote control, which has given the last command.
If the main two-way LCD remote control is broken or lost, the system provides an additional four-button
remote control in the set. You can activate most functions and working modes of alarm system by means
of this remote control as well, but the following operating manual is written for the main LCD remote
control.

LCD remote control uses AAA battery, 1.5 V. The service life of battery depends on the frequency of use
of remote control, frequency of actuation of pager, chosen notification mode, battery type. The capacities
of available batteries can differ by several times. So the average service life of one remote control battery
may be from 3 to 6 months.

When the battery is discharged, there appears the icon on the display, which shows it must be
replaced.

The procedure of replacing the battery of main remote control is the following:
1. Open the back cover of remote control and take out the old battery.
2. Shortly press Button 1 of remote control.
3. Put a new battery in compliance with its polarity and close the cover. (The right position of battery is
shown on the remote control body under the cover.)
4. After replacing the battery, adjust the clock and the alarm clock. There is no need to re-program Button
1 of remote control.

The four-button one-way remote control uses CR2032 lithium battery, 3 V. The service life of battery
depends on the frequency of use of remote control and battery type.
To replace the battery, unscrew the back cover of remote control and open it. Take out the old battery and
replace it by a new one in compliance with its polarity. Then close the cover and tighten up the mounting
screw.

Programming of Button 1 of main remote control
The task of Button 1 of main remote control is programmable and can be changed by the owner of car an
unlimited number of times. For the comfortable use of alarm system, it is recommended to program this
button to turn on/off the security mode.

The procedure of programming is the following:

1. Rapidly press Button 3 of remote control two times or more to move the cursor clockwise or
anticlockwise. To change the direction of cursor movement, make a little pause (1-2 seconds) between the
pushes of Button 3 of remote control.
2. by means of pressing Button 3 of remote control, place the cursor in the position, corresponding to the

command you need (e.g. the command to turn on/off the security mode with sound signals ).
3. Press Button 3 of remote control and hold it for 6 seconds before there appear 2 sound signals, then 3
sound signals more.
4. Press Button 1 of remote control to activate the chosen function.
When you later use the alarm system, a short push of Button 1 of remote control will result in the
execution of programmed command (turn-on/turn-off of the security mode). At the moment the button is
pressed, the icon, corresponding to the programmed function, will light up.

Note. To re-program the task of Button 1, you need to repeat the specified procedure. The task of Button
1 will change for a new one. Proceeding with the operating manual, bear in mind that Button 1 has been
programmed for turn-on/turn-off of the security mode.

Task of Button 2 of main remote control

The task of Button 2 of main remote control is determined by the current position of cursor on the remote
control display. The cursor movement is effected by means of pressing Button 3 of remote control as
follows:
1. Rapidly press Button 3 two times or more to start the cursor movement.
2. When Button 3 is pressed, the cursor will move in eyeless from icon to icon, designated by letters on
the display scheme, given on Page 10. By means of pressing Button 3 of remote control in consecutive
order, put the cursor in the position, corresponding to the command you need.

If there follows a short push of Button 2 of remote control, the chosen command will be executed.
Clock setting
To provide more comfort, the main remote control of alarm system has a built-in clock. To set the clock,
press Button 3 of remote control and hold it until you hear 2 short sound signals. The clock indicator will
begin to blink.
To increase the clock values, Button 1 of remote control is used, to decrease - Button 2 of remote control.
To rapidly increase or decrease the clock values, hold pressed the relevant button of remote control.
To proceed with setting minutes, shortly push Button 3 of remote control. To increase the minutes, Button
1 of remote control is used, to decrease the minutes - Button 2 of remote control. To rapidly increase or
decrease the minutes, hold pressed the relevant button of remote control.
To exit the clock setting mode, press and hold Button 3 of remote control until you hear one short sound
signal or wait for the automatic exit.

Alarm clock setting

The main remote control of alarm system has a built-in alarm clock. To set the alarm clock, press Button
3 of remote control and hold it until you hear 2 short sound signals.

Press Button 3 of remote control in consecutive order until there appears the alarm clock indicator
on the display. The alarm clock indicator will begin to blink.
To increase the value, Button 1 of remote control is used, to decrease the value - Button 2 of remote
control. To rapidly increase or decrease the alarm clock values, hold pressed the relevant button of remote
control.
To proceed with setting minutes, shortly push Button 3 of remote control. After setting the hours and
minutes of alarm clock, press Button 3 of remote control to set the alarm clock mode (ON/OFF). To turn
on the alarm clock, press Button 1 of remote control (ON indication), to turn it off- Button 2 of remote
control (OFF indication).
To exit the mode of alarm clock setting, press and hold Button 3 of remote control until you hear one
short sound signal or wait for the automatic exit.

The alarm clock mode is indicated on the display by the icon . When the alarm clock is activated,
you will hear a melodious sound; you must press Button 3 of remote control to interrupt it before it is
finished.
Timer setting
Besides the clock and alarm clock, the main remote control of alarm system has a built-in countdown
timer. To set the timer, press Button 3 of remote control and hold it until you hear two short sound
signals. Press Button 3 of remote control in consecutive order until the timer indicator appears on the
display. The time setting and turning the timer on is effected similar to that of the alarm clock.

The maximum timer value constitutes 19 hours 59 minutes.

When the timer is on, the display shows its current state and a blinking indicator . After the set time
runs out, there follow 8 sound signals and the timer indication disappears. To interrupt the sound signals,
you need to press Button 3 of remote control.

Rapid timer setting

For prompt timer setting simultaneously press Buttons 3 and 2 of remote control. There will appear a
blinking indicator on the display and the timer value. To change the timer value, simultaneously press
Buttons 3 and 2 of remote control. The possible values in case of prompt timer setting - 10 minutes, 20
minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes, 2 hours.

When the timer is on, the display shows its current state and a blinking indicator . After the set time
runs out, there follow 8 sound signals and the timer indication disappears.

Choosing the notification mode

Basically, 2 notification modes are provided in the main remote control: by means of sound signals or by
means of vibration. To choose the type of notification signals, simultaneously press Buttons 3 and 1.
When the mode of notification by means of vibration has been turned on, there follow two vibration

signals and there appears the indicator on the display.

When the mode of notification by means of sound signals has been turned on, there follows a melodious

sound and the indicator disappears.

Note. The following operating manual for the alarm system has been written for the mode of notification
by means of sound signals. When the mode of notification by means of vibration is on, there follow
vibration signals instead of sound signals of remote control.
Energy saving mode
To increase the service life of battery of main remote control, there is a special energy saving mode. The
energy consumption of remote control in this mode is reduced to minimum 2 minutes after the security
mode of car alarm system is turned off. When the security mode is turned on, the energy saving mode of
remote control is automatically turned off. The reduction of energy consumption in the energy saving
mode results from the turn-off of the electrical circuit of transceiver.
The procedure of turn-on of the energy saving mode is the following:
1. Press and hold Button 3 of remote control until you hear two short sound signals.

2. Press Button 3 of remote control in consecutive order until there appears the indicator on the
display.
3. Press Button 1 of remote control to turn on the energy saving mode (ON indication) or Button 2 to turn
it off (OFF indication).
4. To exit the setting mode, press and hold Button 3 of remote control until you hear a short sound signal
or wait for the automatic exit.

When the energy saving mode is on, the display constantly shows the indicator . 2 minutes after the

security mode is turned off, the icon goes out on the remote control display, confirming that the energy
saving mode has been activated.

Note: When in the energy saving mode, the remote control transceiver automatically turns on for 2
minutes every time, when it must receive a signal of confirmation that the command, sent from the remote
control, has been executed. For example, if the command to open the trunk is given, when the security
mode is turned off, the remote control confirms the execution of this command by sound signals, after
which it returns to the energy saving mode again.
Turn-on of the security mode with sound signals
Before turning on the security mode, make sure that the ignition is
turned off, the doors, hood, trunk are reliably closed. Press button 1 of
remote control, first programming it for turning on/off the security
mode with quiet signals of confirmation.
1 sound signal and 1 flash of side markers will confirm the security
mode has been turned on. The automatic locking of door locks will
happen if they are connected to the alarm system. The LED indicator
will blink, showing that the car is being protected.

The display will show the icons and there will follow a short
sound signal.
The security mode can be also turned on by long pressing of Button 1
of remote control. Then the siren will give loud signals of
confirmation, regardless of the function, programmed for Button 1.

Attention! If the doors, hood, trunk turn out to be poorly shut or one of the push-button switches of doors,
hood, trunk fails, the alarm system will warn about it by 4 sound signals and 4 flashes of side markers.
See the paragraph "Self-test when turning on the security mode ".

Turn-on of the noiseless security mode

Before turning on the security mode, make sure that the ignition is
turned off, the doors, hood, trunk are reliably closed. To turn on the

noiseless security mode, place the cursor on the icon and press
Button 2 of remote control.
1 flash of side markers will confirm that the security mode has been
turned on. The automatic locking of door locks will happen if they are
connected to the alarm system. The LED indicator will blink, showing

that the car is being protected. The display will show the icons

and , there will follow a short sound signal.

Attention! If the doors, hood, trunk turn out to be poorly shut or one of the push-button switches of doors,
hood, trunk fails, the alarm system will warn about it by 4 sound signals and 4 flashes of side markers.

Turn-on of the security mode when the engine is working
There is an option of turning on the security mode when the engine is
working. It may be necessary in case of a short stop or a stop during a
cold season.
Leave the car and close all doors, hood and tank, while the engine is
working. Press and hold Button 1 of remote control until you hear 1
sound signal and see 1 flash of side markers, which will confirm that
the security mode has been turned on, while the engine is working. The
door locks will be automatically closed, if they are connected to the
alarm system. The impact sensor will be excluded from the security
circuit to avoid a false alarm because of the working engine.
The remote control will give a short sound signal. Its display will show

the icons and ; the impact sensor, which has been turned off,

will be indicated by the icons and ; the ignition, being

turned on, and the working engine will be indicated by the icons

and .

Automatic turn-on of the security mode (programmable function)

If the function of automatic turn-on of the security mode has been turned on, then after turning the
ignition off and closing the last door there will follow the warning siren signals and 1 flash of side
markers. The alarm system will automatically turn on the security mode in 10 seconds. It will be
confirmed by 1 sound signal and 1 flash of side markers. The door locks will be closed. The display of

remote control will show the icons and

Attention! If one of push-button switches of the doors fails, the security mode will not be turned on
automatically. See the paragraph "Control of good condition of limit switches ".
If the hood or trunk turns out to be poorly shut or one of the push-button switches of hood or trunk fails,
the alarm system will warn about it by 4 sound signals and 4 flashes offside markers. See the paragraph
"Self-test when turning on the security mode ".
Emergency turn-on of the security mode without a remote control
To turn on the security mode in an emergency, for example, when the remote control is lost or fails, it is
necessary to do the following:
1. Turn on the ignition and press the service button 4 times.
2. Turn off the ignition. To confirm it, there will follow 1 siren signal and 1 flash of side markers.
3. You have 20 seconds to leave the car and close all the doors with a key. There will follow 1 siren
signal and then - 1 sound signal of remote control.
The system will turn on the security mode 20 seconds after the ignition has been turned off, regardless of
the state of doors. To confirm it, there will follow 1 flash of side markers. The LED indicator will begin
to blink, showing that the car is protected.
Attention If the function of automatic turn-on of the security mode is programmed, then after closing the
last door there will additionally follow 1 siren signal and 1 flash offside markers. 20 seconds after the
turn-on of the security mode there will follow 1 additional siren signal.
If the security mode has been turned on in an emergency (without the remote control), then in case of the
actuation of one of security sensors there will first follow only warning signals of alarm — 4 sound
signals and 4 flashes offside markers. Then, if the security mode is not turned off the whole alarm cycle
will turn on in 20 seconds.

Delay of the sensor actuation after the turn-on of security mode (programmable function)
The alarm system has the option of programming the delay of sensor actuation after the turn-on of
security mode for 5, 15, 30 or 45 seconds. When the security mode is turned on by means of the remote
control, the door locks will be closed at once and the zones of limit switches and sensors will be protected
after the programmed time passes. This delay may be used for the gradual extinction of light inside the
car or to make the impact and volume sensors at rest.
After the programmed time of delay passes, there will follow 1 flash of side markers and all zones will be
protected.

Self-test when turning on the security mode

If there are 4 sound signals and 4 flashes of side markers, when the security mode is turned on, it means
that the doors, hood and trunk may be poorly closed, one of push-button switches of doors, hood or trunk
has failed. The remote control will give a short sound signal and the display will show the faulty zone.
It is necessary to close the doors, hood and trunk and the system will automatically protect this zone. To
confirm it, there will follow a short sound signal and the faulty zone will disappear on the display.
If the fault of push-button switches cannot be remediated on the spot, the system will turn of the security
mode, excluding the faulty zone. In case of spontaneous remedy of this fault when the security mode is
on, the alarm system will automatically protect this zone at once.

Turn-off of the security mode with sound signals

To turn off the security mode, press Button 1 of remote control, first
programming it to turn on/off the security mode with quiet signals of
confirmation.
2 short sound signals and 2 flashes of side markers will confirm it has
been turned off. The door locks will automatically open and the light
will be switched on inside the car, if they are connected to the alarm
system. The engine blocking will be turned off. The LED indicator will

go out. The display of remote control will show the icon and
there will follow 2 short sound signals. The security mode can be
turned on by means of a long pressing of Button 1 of remote control
and then the siren will give loud signals of confirmation regardless of
the programmed function of Button 1.

Attention! If you hear 4 sound signals and see 4 flashes of side markers, when turning off the security
mode, it means that the security sensors have been actuated when still in the security mode. See the
paragraph "Self-test when turning off the security mode ".

Noiseless turn-off of the security mode

To turn off the security mode without the sound signals of

confirmation, place the cursor on the icon and press button 2 of

remote control.
2 flashes of side markers will confirm that the security mode has been
turned off. The door locks will automatically open and the light will be
switched on inside the car, if they are connected to the alarm system.
The engine blocking will be turned off. The LED indicator will go out.

The display of remote control will show the icon and there will
follow 2 short sound signals.

Note. When the security mode is turned off noiselessly, the fact that the alarm system has gone offish
shown by means of4 sound signals of remote control and 4 flashes offside markers.
Turn-off of the security mode when the engine is working
The security mode is turned off, when the engine is working, by means of pressing and holding Button 1
of remote control until you hear 2 sound signals and see 2 flashes of side markers. The door locks will
automatically open, if they are connected to the alarm system.

The engine will continue to work. The display of remote control will show the icon and there will

follow 2 short sound signals. The ignition being on will be indicated by the icon

Emergency turn-off of the security mode

(entering the personal code)
For the emergency turn-off of security mode, for example, when the remote control is lost or fails, it is
necessary to enter the personal code with the help of the ignition lock and service button:
1. Open the car door with the key. The alarm system will give the alarm signals. The display of remote

control will show the icon .

2. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
3. Press the service button the necessary number of times, equal to the first figure of personal code.
4. Turn off the ignition and then turn it on again.
5. Press the service button the necessary number of times, equal to the second figure of personal code.
6. Turn off the ignition. The alarm signals will stop. The security mode will be turned off. The sound
signals of alarm can be interrupted by pressing Button 3 of remote control.

Note. The display of remote control won’t indicate the turn-off of security mode.
Automatic return to the security mode when it is accidentally turned off (programmable function)
If the car doors are not open during 30 seconds after the turn-off of security mode, the alarm system will
automatically turn on the security mode again. It protects from the turn-off of security mode by
accidentally pressing a button of remote control, as well as when you turn off the alarm system, but
change your mind about taking a car and forget to turn on the security mode. The alarm system will do it
itself.
If the security mode has been turned off with the sound signals of confirmation, the turn-on of security
mode again will be confirmed by 1 siren signal and 1 flash of side markers. The display of remote control
will show the icons and . There will follow 1 short sound signal.
If the security mode has been turned off noiselessly, turn-on of the security mode again will be confirmed
only by 1 flash of side markers. The display of remote control will show the icons and, indicating that the
noiseless security mode has been turned on. There will follow one short sound signal.
The door locks will automatically close, if they are connected to the alarm system. The engine blocking
will be turned on. The LED indicator will begin to blink, showing that the car is protected.

Self-test when turning off the security mode

If the alarm system went off in the security mode when the owner was
absent (the doors, hood, trunk were open) and the alarm signals were
not interrupted by the remote control, then there will follow 4 siren
signals, 4 flashes of side markers and 4 sound signals of remote
control, when the security mode will be turned off. The display will
show the icons in compliance with the causes of going off of alarm
system.
If the alarm signals were interrupted by the remote control, then there
will follow only 2 siren signals and 2 flashes of side markers, when the
security mode will be turned off. In this case there will not be any
indication of problematic zone on the display.
Protection functions

Alarm signals

If any of security sensors are actuated in the security mode, it will automatically turn on the alarm signals:
sound signals of siren, blinking of side markers and switching on the light inside the car; the engine will
be instantly blocked. The remote control will give the sound signals of alarm, the display will show the
cause of going off of alarm system. While the siren of the alarm system is working, the icon P™ will be
blinking on the display; while the side markers are blinking, the headlights will be blinking on the
display.

The alarm signals are given in cycles. The duration of one alarm cycle and the maximum number of
cycles for different causes of going off of alarm system are given in the table.

If after the end of alarm cycle the cause of going off of alarm system was not eliminated (e.g. the doors
remained open), the relevant security zone is temporarily excluded from the security circuit until the
cause of going off of alarm system is eliminated (until the doors are closed), but the display of remote
control continues the indication.

Note. If the alarm signals were interrupted by the remote control, the counting of number of alarm cycles
when the sensor is periodically activated begins from the start.

If the noiseless security mode has been turned on, there will not follow any sound signals when the alarm
system goes off.
Interruption of alarm signals
If you want to interrupt the alarm signals without the turn-off of
security mode, for example, in case of checking the work of sensors,
press Button 1 of remote control. Then the alarm system will remain in
the security mode.
If at the time of interruption of alarm signals the cause of going off of
alarm system was eliminated, the sound signals and indication on the
display of remote control will stop.
If at the time of interruption the alarm signals the cause of going off of
alarm system was not removed, the display of remote control will
continue to show the relevant icon. The security zone will be
temporarily excluded from the security circuit. The icon on the display
will go out only after the cause of going off of alarm system is
eliminated, and to confirm it, there will follow 1 siren signal and 1
sound signal of remote control.

To interrupt only the signals of notification from the remote control, press Button 3 of remote control.
Then the alarm signals of alarm system and the indication on the display of remote control will continue.

Remote turn-on of the panic mode

To turn on the panic mode when the ignition is off, place the cursor on
the icon and press Button 2 of remote control.
There will follow 3 sound signals of siren and 3 flashes of side
markers. The remote control will give a sound signal.
If the security mode was turned off before it, then the door locks will
be automatically closed, when the panic mode is turned on. After the
alarm signals are turned off, the security mode will automatically turn
on. There will not be any indication on the display of remote control.
Anti-theft mode
Turn-on of the anti-theft mode
There are two methods of turn-on of anti-theft mode:

Method 1 - when the ignition is on, place the cursor on the icon with
the help of Button 3 of remote control, then press Button 2 of remote
control. The display of remote control will show the icon, there will
follow a short sound signal.

Method 2 - when the ignition is on, press the special button of turning
on/off the anti-theft mode.

After the anti-theft mode is activated, the alarm system will first turn
on 30 second warning light signals, then the sound signals of siren will
follow. The door locks will close. The engine will be blocked.

The icons and will begin to blink on the display of remote control,
followed by the sound signals of alarm from the remote control.

Turn-off of the anti-theft mode

During the first 30 seconds from the moment of activation of anti-theft mode its turn-off is possible with
the help of special button of turning on/off the anti-theft mode. To do it, first turn off the ignition, then
press and hold the button until you hear 3 siren signals. The warning light signals will be turned off.
There are two methods of turn-off of anti-theft mode, when the engine stops and the sound signals of
alarm are heard:

Method 1 - turn off the ignition, place the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of remote control. The
alarm signals will stop. The system will pass to the security mode. The LED indicator will begin to blink.
After the turn-off of security mode, the engine will be unblocked.

Method 2 - enter the two-digit personal code of emergency turn-off. After the code is successfully dialed,
the alarm signals will stop, the engine blocking will be turned off. The door locks will remain closed. The
door locks will open after the security mode will be turned on again by the remote control. The icons will
disappear on the display of remote control.
Immobilizer mode (programmable function)
If the immobilizer function has been programmed,
the engine will be automatically blocked 30 seconds
after every turn-off of the ignition, no matter if the
security mode has been turned on or not. The
immobilized mode is indicated by double flashes of
LED indicator.

To turn off the immobilizer mode, it is necessary to press Valet service button one time, when the ignition
is off. The LED indicator will go out. The engine will be unblocked.

The immobilizer mode can be also turned off by means of pressing twice on Button 1 of remote control
with the interval of 2 seconds, there will follow 2 sound signals of remote control and 2 flashes of side
markers after the second pressing to confirm the turn-off.

Engine Mocking
The reliable engine blocking on one or two circuits is preserved during the whole period of protecting the
car. The attempts of car thieves to start the engine, regardless the alarm signals, will not succeed. Even if
they find the central unit of alarm system and cut it from the cables, the engine will remain blocked.

Protection of alarm system from the power cutoff

In case of power cutoff, e.g. resetting the accumulator terminal, the alarm system remembers its status.
When the power supply is restored, the alarm system will return to the same mode (see the table of status
of system, given below), the remote control will give a melodious sound signal.

Remote turn-on/off of the Impact sensor
The alarm system has the option of remote turn-on/turn-off of the
impact sensor according to its levels unlimited number of times
during one cycle.
If it is necessary to turn off only the preliminary level of impact
sensor, place the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of remote
control. The display will show the icons and , followed by 2
sound signals and 2 flashes of side markers. The first level of sensor
will be turned off.

If it is necessary to turn off both levels of impact sensor, place the cursor on the icon and press Button

2 of remote control for the second time. The display of remote control will show the icons and ,
followed by 3 sound signals and 3 flashes of side markers. Both levels of impact sensor will be turned off.

If it necessary to turn on the impact sensor again, place the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of
remote control for the third time, there will follow 1 sound signal and 1 flash of side markers. The icons

and , will disappear from the display of remote control. Both levels of impact sensor will be
turned on again.

Control of central lock by means of the remote control when the ignition is turned on
When the ignition is turned on, the consecutive short push of
Button 1 of remote control will result in the closing and opening
the door locks in turn.
The display of remote control will show the following icons:

when the locks are closed;

when the locks are open.
The ignition being on is indicated by the icon .
Automatic control of central lock by means of the ignition lock (programmable function)
If you wish, you can use the function of automatic control of door locks,
when the ignition is turned on and off. If this function is turned on, then
the door locks will open automatically as soon as the ignition is turned off.

It is possible to program 3 variants of control of door locks, when the ignition is turned on:
1. the locks are not closed;
2. the locks are closed 10 seconds after the ignition is turned on;
3. the locks are closed 30 seconds after the ignition is turned on.

Attention! If at the moment of turn-on of ignition or 10 or 30 seconds after it one of the door will be open,
the door locks will not be closed.

Open door alarm

(programmable function)
If you wish, you can use the function of warning about the open doors
when the security mode is off. When any door is open, the side markers
will blink during 10 seconds or until the door is closed.

Control of good state of limit switches

The alarm system has the option of control of good state of limit switches
of doors, hood and trunk, when the security mode is off. The opening of
doors, hood and trunk, when the ignition is on, must be followed by the
flashes of LED indicator. If the LED indicator does not light up, when they
are open, it means that the relevant limit switch has failed.
Car search mode
In this mode the system gives 6 sound signals and 6 flashes of side
markers, which make it easier to find the car in the dark. The remote
control will give a melodious sound signal.
There are two variants of turn-on of the search mode:
Variant 1 - simultaneously press and hold Buttons 1 and 2 of remote
control until you hear the sound signals and see the light signals.

Variant 2 - place the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of remote
control.

Control of the car status and temperature

To control the car status, temperature inside the car and mode of alarm
system, there is a special mode.
There are two variants of turn-on of this special mode:
Variant 1 - simultaneously press Buttons 1 and 2 of remote control.
Variant 2 - place the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of remote
control.

There will follow 3 flashes of side markers. The display of remote control will show the temperature
inside the car and status of security mode of alarm system; there will be a melodious sound.
Note. The temperature scale (Celsius or Fahrenheit) is programmed. The temperature value, indicated by
the remote control, may differ from the real value, depending on the place of installation of transceiver
module in the car (e.g. when the module is in the sun, the indicated temperature value can be higher than
the real one).

Calling from the car

To give a signal of call from the car to the remote control of alarm system, you need to press the button,
located on the body of transceiver module.

There will follow 3 flashes of side markers. The display of remote control will show the icon and
there will follow 20-second signals of call. To stop the sound signals and indication on the display, you
need to press Button 3 of remote control.
Control of Additional Channel 1
(remote opening of the trunk)
Additional Channel 1 (yellow and black wire) can be activated, regardless
of the status of alarm system and used for the remote opening of trunk. If
the channel is activated, when the security mode is on, the trunk zone and
impact sensor are temporarily turned off.
There are two variants of turn-on of Additional Channel 1:
Variant 1 - press and hold Button 2 of remote control until you see the
light signals of confirmation.

Variant 2 - place the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of remote
control.

As a confirmation, there will follow 3 sound signals of remote control and 3 flashes of side markers.
There will be 1-second negative pulse on the output of the channel and the trunk will open.
When the security mode is off, the display of remote control will show the blinking icon of open trunk

When the security mode is on, the display of remote control will show the blinking icons and

, indicating that the trunk is open and the impact sensor is off.
If the trunk does not open, when the channel is activated, there will not follow any indication on the
display of remote control.
If at the time of closing the trunk the alarm system is in the security mode, the trunk zone and impact
sensor zone will be protected again in 5 seconds. To confirm it, there will follow 1 siren signal and 1
sound signal of remote control. The blinking icons of open trunk and impact sensor will disappear.

Operation of Additional Channel 2

(Programmable function)
The algorithm of work of Additional Channel 2 (blue wire) is programmed, when the alarm system is
installed (function 7):
Algorithm 1 - the channel is automatically activated for 30 seconds when the security mode is turned off
and simultaneously with the alarm signals in the security mode. For example, this algorithm can be used
to turn on the "polite" light inside the car.
Algorithm 2 - the channel is automatically activated for 30 seconds, when the security mode is turned on.
The impact sensor is turned off for the time of the channel's work. For example, this algorithm can be
used to automatically open the window glass.
Algorithm 3 - the channel is remotely activated for 0.8 sec, regardless of the status of security mode. Place

the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of remote control. There will follow 3 flashes of side markers
and 3 sound signals of remote control.
Algorithm 4 - the channel works in the latch mode, regardless of the status of security mode. Place the

cursor on the icon . When you first press Button 2 of remote control, the channel is activated, when
you press it for the second time - the channel is turned off.

When the channel is turned on, the display of remote control shows the icon , there follow 3 flashes

of side markers and 3 sound signals of remote control. When the channel is turned off, the icon
disappears, followed by 2 flashes of side markers and 2 sound signals of remote control. If the alarm system
goes off in the security mode, the channel is automatically turned off.

Turn-on of the emergency light alarm system of the car

If Additional Channel 2 is programmed to work according to Algorithm 1 or 2, the user of alarm system
can turn on and off the emergency light alarm system with the help of the remote control. To do it, you

need to place the cursor on the icon and press Button 2 of remote control. When you first press the
button, 10-minute blinking of side markers is turned on, when you press the button for the second time, the
flashes of side markers are turned off before the established time. Turn-on of the emergency alarm system

is accompanied by the appearance of the icon on the display of remote control and 4 sound signals of

remote control. If it is turned off before the established time, the icon disappears and there follow 2
sound signals of remote control.

Operation of Additional Channel 3

(programmable function)
The algorithm and duration of Additional Channel 3 (yellow and red wire)
are programmed when the alarm system is installed (function 1). This
channel can be used for the remote operation of the car's additional
equipment or for performing the function of step-by-step opening of door
locks.

To tum on and off the channel, place the cursor on the icon and press
Button 2 of remote control. To confirm it, there will follow 1 siren signal, 1
flash of side markers and 1 sound signal of remote control. The duration of
activating the channel is 0.8; 10;30 seconds or until it is turned off by the
remote control (it is programmed).
Two-step opening of door locks
When the alarm system is installed in the car, Additional Channels 2 and 3 can be used for performing the
function of two-step opening of door locks, if the security mode is turned off. For this purpose, you need
to program the duration of work of chosen channel to be 0.8 second. The lock of the driver's door and the
locks of other doors must be connected in compliance with the scheme, given on Page 44. In this case, if
the security mode is turned off, only the driver's door will open. For the remote opening of other doors you
need to activate the additional channel.

Choosing the duration of sound signals of confirmation and the type of sound signals of alarm
(programmable function)
There is an option of establishing the duration of sound signals of confirmation when the security mode is
turned on/off: 100 ms, 20 ms, 15 ms or 20 ms, if the security mode is turned off, and no signals, if the
security mode is turned off.

When the duration of signals is programmed to be 100 ms, the siren will give persistent sound in the security
mode. In the other cases the sound signals of alarm will be interrupted (6 seconds for the sound, 2 seconds
for the pause). The interrupted signals must be programmed, when the alarm system is connected to the car
klaxon.

Valet service mode

To temporarily turn off the anti-theft and security functions of car alarm system, for example, when the car
is sent to the maintenance service center, it is recommended to turn on Valet service mode.
In Valet service mode the function of remote opening and closing of door locks and the operation of
additional channels continue to work.

To turn on the service mode, place the cursor on the icon and press
Button 2 of remote control, there will follow 4 siren signals and 4 flashes of
side markers. The display of remote control will show the blinking icon
followed by a melodious signal of remote control. The LED indicator will
blink in series of 5 flashes.
To turn off the service mode, place the cursor on the icon and press
Button 2 of remote control, there will follow 3 siren signals and 3 flashes of

side markers. The icon on the display of remote control will go out,
followed by a melodious sound of remote control. The LED indicator will
go out.
LED indication of the status of alarm system
The LED indicator blinks in different ways in different working modes of
car alarm system. If you don't have a remote control with LC display,
indicating the status of alarm system and car, you can define the current
working mode of car alarm system by means of the type of LED blinking.

Personal code of emergency turn-off

The personal code is needed for the emergency turn-off of security mode and exit from the anti-theft mode.
The secret code of car alarm system consists of two numbers, each of which can have the value from 1 to
4 inclusive. In the process of operation of car alarm system the code can be re-programmed several times.
The car alarm systems are supplied with the factory personal code -11. When the alarm system is installed
in the car, it is recommended to enter the system's memory the secret code, known only to you.
The procedure of fixing a new personal code is the following:
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Press the service button 8 times. With each pressing of button the LED indicator lights up.
3. Turn off the ignition. There will follow 8 short siren signals, indicating the mode of fixing a new code.
4. Press the service button once. There will follow 1 siren signal.
5. Within 5 seconds enter the first number of new personal code with the help of the main remote control
with LC display. A short push of Button 1 corresponds to number 1, a short push of Button 2 - to number
2, a long pressing of Button 1 - to number 3, along pressing of Button 2 - to number 4. The remote control
will give a relevant number of sound signals.
6. Press the service button once. There will follow 2 siren signals.
7. Within 5 seconds enter the second number of new personal code with the help of the main remote control
with LC display. A short push of Button 1 corresponds to number 1, a short push of Button 2 - to number
2, a long pressing of Button 1 - to number 3, along pressing of Button 2 - to number 4. the remote control
will give a relevant number of sound signals. The car alarm system automatically leaves the mode of fixing
a code in 5 seconds or after the ignition is turned on again. To confirm it, there will follow 5 flashes of side
markers.
Programming of functions and working parameters
Some functions and work parameters of alarm system can be changed with the help of the service button
and remote control without having an access to the central unit. The list of functions is given in the table
below.
The procedure of programming is the following:
1. Tum on the ignition.
2. Press the service button 6 times.
3. Turn off the ignition. There will follow 6 Led flashes and 6 siren signals, indicating the mode of
programming.
4. Press the service button the necessary number of times, equal to the number of chosen function. Each
pressing of service button will be followed by lighting up of LED indicator and short sound signals,
indicating the number of current chosen function. Each fifth pressing of service button will be indicated by
long sound signals.
5. Within 10 seconds press Button 1 or 2 of remote control, making a short push (0.5 sec) or a long pressing
of button (3 sec), depending on the desirable status of chosen function. To confirm it, there will follow 1,
2, 3 or 4 short sound signals of siren and remote control, depending on the selected value of function.
6. To pass to the next function, press the service button, then select the necessary value of function by
pressing the button of remote control. Repeat this procedure for all functions, requiring any changes.
7. To exit the mode of programming, turn on the ignition again or wait for the automatic exit of system
from the mode. To confirm it, there will follow 5 flashes of side markers.
Return to the factory settings
There is an option of return to the factory settings all programmable functions. To do it, you must:
1. Turn on the ignition and press the service button 10 times.
2. Turn off the ignition. There will follow 10 siren signals, indicating the mode of return to the factory
settings.
3. Press the service button once. There will follow 1 siren signal.
4. Press Button 1 of remote control. There will follow 1 short sound signal of remote control, confirming
the return to the factory settings.
5. To exit the mode of return to the factory settings, turn on the ignition again or wait for the automatic exit
of system from the mode. To confirm it, there will follow 5 flashes of side markers and a melodious sound
of remote control.
Recording of the remote control code
The memory of alarm system can record 4 remote controls. The recording of remote control codes is
effected with the security mode turned off according to the following procedure:
1. Tum on the ignition.
2. Press the service button during 6 seconds and let it off after you hear 4 sound signals of siren.
3. Press simultaneously Buttons 1 and 2 of remote control with LC display until you hear 1 siren signal,
confirming the recording of first remote control in the system's memory. (You need to simultaneously press
Buttons 3 and 4 to record an additional remote control without display.)
4. Repeat p. 3 for all recorded remote controls. The recording of each remote control is conformed by the
relevant number of sound signals. If the system does not accept the signal of remote control within 6
seconds, it will automatically leave the mode of recording and there will follow 5 flashes of side markers.
5. Turn off the ignition.
Attention! When you record new remote controls, you need to re-record the old ones as well, or they will
be deleted from the system’s memory,

Recommendations for the placement and assembly of components

StarLionr Twage A6 system can be installed in the cars with the accumulator voltage of 12 V and a negative
pole on the body.
Place the central unit inside the car in a hidden place, better under the dashboard, then the length of
connecting wires will be minimum. To prevent the moisture's coming into the unit, it is recommended to
install it so that the drops of water can't come down the wires inside the body. Fix the unit on the flat surface
with the help of self-tapping screws or two-side adhesive tape to prevent its moving because of vibration.
Fix the transceiver module with antenna on the car windscreen so that there is no less than 5 centimeters
from the antenna to the metal parts of body. In this case the maximum distance of action is provided for the
remote controls. Besides, it must be also taken into account during the installation that the temperature
gauge is situated in this module, so the module must be placed as far as possible from the sources of heat
and so as to avoid the direct sunlight. Otherwise the temperature values may be incorrect.
Place the siren under the hood as far as possible from the sources of heat and moisture. Direct the siren
loudspeaker down to avoid the constant accumulation of water. Make sure that there is no access to the
siren and wires from under the car.
Rigidly fix the impact sensor inside the car, providing the access for its adjustment.
Fix the LED indicator conspicuously on the dashboard.
Place valet service button and button of anti-theft mode in the hidden places, accessible for the user.
When installing the push-button switches under the hood and in the trunk, check their work. When the hood
or trunk is closed, the clearance between the contacts in the switch must be no less than 3 mm. The incorrect
installation of push-button switches is often the cause of false alarm.
Recommendations for the wiring installation and connection
Perform the wiring installation as far as possible from the sources of electrical interference -the ignition
coil, high voltage wires, etc. Make sure that the wires are not in touch with the moving parts of the car- the
foot pedals, steering link, etc.
The assembly of alarm system wiring must be performed when the accumulator is detached.

Attention! If the car is equipped with an air cushion or has an encoded transceiver, use the operating
manual for the car or transceiver, when powering them off.

Solder and insulate well all permanent terminations.

Join the central unit and other components of alarm system to the cable connectors only after the assembly
is completed. Perform the alarm system assembly in compliance with the connection diagram.

Transceiver connection
The transceiver module with the antenna is connected to the five-pin connector, located in the central unit
under the flip cover, with the help of a cable, entering the alarm system set.
Connection of two-level impact sensor
The impact sensor is connected to the central unit with the help of a four-wire cable, entering the alarm
system set. The sensor sensitivity is adjusted according to the levels by means of potentiometers on the
sensor body.

system set. The sensor sensitivity is adjusted according to the levels by means of potentiometers on the
sensor body.
LED indicator connection
Connect the plug of LED indicator to the two-pin connector, located in the central unit under the flip cover.

Connection of Valet service button

Join the connector of Valet service button to the two-pin connector, located in the central unit under the flip
cover.

Connection of anti-theft mode button

Connect the plug of anti-theft mode button to the relevant two-pin connector of central unit.

Connection of 14-pin connector of central unit

Red wire (No. 1) - positive power supply + 12 V, connect to the positive accumulator terminal.
Black wire (No. 2) - negative power supply, join to the car body, providing a good contact.
Yellow wire (No. 10) - connect to the terminal of ignition lock, where there is + 12 V when the ignition is
turned on.
Green and black wire (No. 8) - connect to the lamps of side markers or direction indicators. The maximum
output load current is 7.5 A.
Green and yellow wire (No. 9) - connect to the lamps of side markers or direction indicators. The maximum
output load current is 7.5 A.
Grey wire (No. 11) - positive output to connect to the siren. The maximum load current is
2 A.
Blue and black wire (No. 13) connect to the push-button switches of doors, closing on the body when the
doors open.
Blue and red wire (No. 6) - connect to the push-button switches of doors, closing on + 12 V when the doors
open.
Orange and grey wire (No. 14) - connect to the push-button switches of hood, closing on the body, when
the hood opens.
Orange and white wire (No. 7) - connect to the push-buttons of trunk, closing on the body when the trunk
opens.
Yellow and black wire (No. 12) - negative output of Additional Channel 1. The duration of control signal
is 0.8 second. The maximum load current is 300 mA. The channel can be used to operate the solenoid of
opening the trunk. You need an additional relay for connection, there is an example of connection diagram
in the picture.
Yellow and red wire (No. 5) - negative output for Additional Channel 3. The maximum load current is 300
mA. You need an additional relay for connection. The duration of output signal pulse can be programmed
to be 0.8, 10, 30 seconds or until the channel is turned off by the remote control (a latch).
Blue wire (No. 3) - negative output of Additional Channel 2. The maximum load current is 300 mA. You
need an additional relay for connection. The pulse duration and algorithm of channel work are programmed.
Black and yellow wire (No. 4) - negative programmable output of alarm system status. The maximum load
current is 300 mA. The output is intended for the connection of additional external blocking relay, the type
of relay contacts (NC or NO) is programmed.
Connection of in-built circuit of engine blocking
The switching set of contacts of built-in blocking relay is taken out to the three-pin power connector. The
type of blocking, NC (normally closed) or NO (normally open), is programmed during the system
installation (function 11). Initially, the factory setting is a normally closed type of contacts.
Depending on the type of car, break one of standard electric circuits of engine and connect two wires of
power connector, corresponding to the programmed type of contacts, in the circuit break. The maximum
current of built-in relay is 40 A.
Connection of external circuit of engine blocking with the help of Starlionr universal set for the wireless
blocking
This method of engine blocking essentially increases the anti-theft characteristics of alarm system. To
operate the module, entering Star Line universal set for the wireless blocking, use the black and yellow
wire of alarm system, first programming it’s NO type of contacts. The possible diagrams of engine blocking

Connection of the external circuit of engine blocking with the help of common relays
Break one of standard circuits of starting the engine and connect an additional relay in the circuit break.
The type of contacts of blocking relay, NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) is to be programmed
(function 11). Initially, the factory setting is a normally closed type of contacts. The example of diagram of
connection of starter blocking is given in the picture.

Connection to the solenoid of opening the trunk

The alarm system has an output for the remote opening of trunk (a yellow and black wire). The example of
connection scheme is given in the picture.
Connection to the interior light
The alarm system has an output (a blue wire), which can be used to connect to the car's interior light and
perform the function of "polite interior light". For this purpose Additional Channel 2 must be programmed
to activate when the security mode is turned off (variant 1). The example of connection diagram is given in
the picture.

Connection to the dim light

Additional Channel 3 (a yellow and red wire) can be used to connect to the dim light and perform the
function of "light strip". For this purpose the duration of signal of Additional Channel 3 can be programmed
to be 10 or 30 seconds or until the channel is turned off by the remote control (function 1). The example of
connection diagram is given in the picture.
Connection to the central locking system
StarLionr A6+ alarm system has the in-built 15-Amper relays of control of central lock. The relay contacts
are taken out to the 6-pin connector. The duration of controlling pulses is to be programmed.

Additional Channel 2 or 3 can be used to perform the function of two-step opening of doors. The duration
of signal of chosen channel must be programmed to be 0.8 second.
Warranty liabilities
The warranty service of this kind of equipment shall be provided by the company, selling it, with the
following terms taken into account. The quality of equipment installation shall be confirmed by the relevant
warranty documents of the installer.

Terms of warranty service

1. The warranty shall be valid during the period, specified in the warranty service coupon for this kind of
equipment. The warranty period shall be counted from the day of buying the equipment, provided the user
meets the conditions of operation, installation and storage.
2. During the warranty period the equipment shall be repaired free of charge or its defective parts and
components shall be replaced. The warranty period shall be extended for the time the equipment undergoes
warranty repairs.
3. The warranty repairs (if it is impossible, then the replacement) shall be performed within 20 days from
the day of giving the equipment to the company, which sold it, with an obligatory description of claim for
the product quality.
4. Free warranty repairs or replacement of equipment shall be provided only if a production defect is find
out. The conclusion on the character of defect shall be given in the supplier's certified service center.
5. To require the replacement of defective equipment, the availability of MI set of supplied equipment,
including the packing materials - a box, packets, operating and installation manual - and a filled in warranty
service coupon, shall be a prerequisite.
6. The warranty shall not be valid in the following cases:
• in case of absence or incorrect filling in of the warranty service coupon (card);
• in case of broken factory seals (if they are provided by the construction) or traces of unsealing the
equipment;
• if the traces of mechanical damage or damage, caused by the violation of conditions of storage and
operation (traces of blows, cracks, worn spots, scratches on the body, etc.), are detected;
• if the product is damaged as a result of unqualified installation or if the damage is directly or indirectly
related to the external causes (natural calamities, fire, water, aggressive liquids, etc.).
7. The warranty shall not apply to the batteries, used in the remote controls, pager receivers, as well as any
other consumable materials, supplied with this kind of equipment.
8. In case of any defects or damages, not related to the production defects, and the end of warranty period,
the troubleshooting of equipment shall be performed according to the supplier's current prices.
