I will start my lesson by greeting the students, and telling them the rules of listening to a story. I will start the

story by introducing it and talk about the cover page “writer and illustrator” “title and character” I will ask the
students to guess what’s the story about and who’s the main character. While reading the story I will ask
questions, like Who is zoad? What’s a toad? What’s the name of the boy? And so on.
Students will colour “Zoad” with writing the toad What’s the name of the toad?
name under the picture.
Tell me some words that have long vowel “o”.
To close the storytelling part before teacher Joy start her lesson, I will ask the students to give me words with
15 min
long and short vowel “o” since they knew few words with short “o”. I tell the students that they will learn
