LAB 01
OBJECTIVE:
Construct a simple switched LAN.

Resources Used:
• Packet Server.

• Switch.

• Connecting wires.

Procedure:
Step 1:
• Construct the LAN .

• Drag a Switch to working area.

• Drag a PC to working area.

• Drag a Server to working area.

• Connect PC to Switch0 using straight wire.

• Connect Server to Switch0 using straight wire.

Step 2:
• IP address assignment.
Step 3:
• Check the connectivity between PC0 & Server0.

PC0 > Using ping command.


LAB 02
OBJECTIVE:
To configure a router in a command line.

Resources Used:
• Packet Server.

• Router.

• Two PCs

• Connecting wires.

Procedure:
Step 1:
• Construct a Router and two pcs.

• Drag a Router to working area.

• Drag two PC to working area.

• Connect both PCs to Router using cross wire.

Step 2:
• IP address assignment to the Router.
Step3:
• IP address assignment to the PC0 and PC1.

Step 4:
• Check the connectivity between PC0 &PC1.

Step 5:
 Give default gateway to both PCs.

Step 6:
• PC1> Using ping command.

• PC0> Using ping command.

LAB 03
OBJECTIVE:
Configure a Linksys Wireless Network.

Resources Used:
• Three Router

• Three Switch.

• Three PCs

• Using Straight Cables Wire and Serial Ports wire.

Procedure:
Step 1:
• Construct the LAN Network.

• Drag three Routers to working area.

• Drag a three PCs to working area.

• Drag a three Switches to working area.

• Connect all PCs to all given Switches respectively using straight wire.

• Connect all Routers to all given Switches respectively using straight wire.

• Connect Router 1 and Router 2 to Router 0 using Serial Port cable.

Step 2:
• Assign WI2T to all Routers (Router 1, 2 and 3).
Step 3:
• Assign IP address to all ports of Router (1,2 and 3) and also to all PCs.
Step 4:
• Working Area after assign IP address to all LAN network.

Step 5:
• Routing through Command Line (CLI) on all three Routers (1,2 and 3) respectively.
Step 6:
• Ping all the PCs respectively to each other.
