With our varied event space we can cater for up to 800 guests for a traditional wedding breakfast,
and as many as 1000 for your evening reception, so no matter the size of your guest list, we can work
with you to accommodate all of your wishes.

At Hilton Brighton Metropole we think of all the little things so that you don’t have to. Both you and your
guests can also enjoy making the most of everything this spectacular hotel has to offer, unwind in our
LivingWell Health Club, with its fitness centre, pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool. Or maybe the bride

If you decide to hold your Wedding Ceremony with us within the same suite
as the Wedding Breakfast, no additional suite hire charges will apply.
If an alternative room is used, suite hire charges will apply.

The arranging of a local registrar to conduct the civil ceremony will be your responsibility.

Hire of Event Spaces and Kitchens
Our event spaces can seat up to a maximum of 800 guests with a stage and dance
floor. If you wish to use outside caterers, we work with Hilton approved suppliers,
details available on request.

Hire of suite and kitchen from 8:00am to 1:00am the following morning

1 x Storage room

A full bar is available which can be operated on either a cash or account basis. The Hilton Brighton
Metropole will provide bar staff at the current rate if required. Alternatively a free bar can be stocked and
run by the caterer. Please be aware no hotel staff other than those mentioned above will be available on the
day, unless they have been pre-booked by either the client or caterer.

Any items left on hotel premises 48 hours following the function may incur a storage charge. The client
will be responsible for any costs incurred from damage caused by the wedding party to any part of the hotel.
The caterer will be responsible for any costs incurred from damage caused to kitchen equipment. A charge
of £300 inclusive of VAT will be levied to the caterer if the kitchens are not left in a clean and tidy state.

Confetti clean up charge may apply.

TO CONFIRM A BOOKING
Written confirmation is required and a contract to be signed by the Client or the Caterer
on the Client’s behalf.
Health and safety disclaimers to be signed by the Caterer.
A non refundable deposit of £1,000 is required on confirmation.

Everyone has Terms and Conditions but we would like to make them as clear and
easily understandable for you as possible. If you have any questions regarding
them please feel free to speak to us.

STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WEDDING BOOKINGS


Hilton UK asks clients to be aware that wedding bookings are conducted on the basis of the following terms and conditions.

CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT


A provisional booking for the date of your choice will be held until we get another enquiry for the same date.
To confirm the booking Hilton UK requires written contract and a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total event value.
The booking is confirmed upon receipt of the signed terms and conditions and receipt of paid deposit.

Further payment is required as follows:


6 months prior - 40% of the outstanding balance
1 month prior - total outstanding balance
Any additional costs must be settled on the day of the wedding.
A credit/debit card number may be given in advance in order that the balance can be charged to the account.

CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS

Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be in writing and a cancellation fee will apply.
A cancellation fee is calculated as a percentage of the total booking value and shown below:

The Hotel will endeavour to re-let the bedroom and function space and a reduction of the cancellation
fee will be made in the event the Hotel is successful in doing so.

A minimum number of guests must be confirmed in writing to the Hotel at the time of booking.
It is this figure, which will act as the chargeable number of guests to be paid for. Final numbers must be
given to the Hotel at least 72 hours before the wedding and be no less than 90% of the original number.

The Hotel reserves the right to reallocate the room originally stated, should it be deemed necessary.
Account Bars charges will be required to be paid on departure.
Terms And Conditions
EVENING CELEBRATIONS
Where an evening celebration follows on from a daytime sit down meal with us, we ask that you cater for a minimum
of 75% of the evening guests. Should you not wish to provide catering, a room hire charge may be applicable.

DAMAGE
The client is responsible to Hilton UK, for any damage caused by the client or his guests, agents, employee’s etc.

CORKAGE
The clients or guests may bring no wines or spirits into the allocated rooms for consumption on the
premises unless prior written consent of Hilton UK has been obtained and for which a charge will be made.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
The Hilton Brighton Metropole is pleased to offer competitive and guaranteed accommodation rates for guests attending your
Wedding and on agreeing your package, these bedrooms are offered at your agreed rates and can be booked in a number of ways:

Direct with your Wedding Co-ordinator.

Personalised Online Group – a basic webpage that enables you to send the web link to your guests so they can arrange
their own accommodation. This can also be customised with your special event details and images; and with Guest List Manager
you will be able to track who has arranged their accommodation at any time.

CHECK-IN TIMES
Check-in time for accommodation is from 4.00pm. An early check in can be requested but not guaranteed.

Car parking is provided on a first come, first served basis. Payment can be made for residents on check out*
or for non residents at the payment machine located in the car park.
*At a charge of £20 per 24 hours.

FIREWORKS AND CONFETTI


Please note that fireworks are not permitted on hotel premises. Confetti is permitted outside the hotel.

The Clarence Suite
The impressive and recently refurbished Clarence Suite was originally built in 1819
as a chapel in the grounds of the hotel, which was opened in 1890. It boasts a high
vaulted barrel ceiling with three grand central chandeliers which at a touch of a
button can be dimmed to produce a warm glow creating a wonderful atmosphere
for your Wedding Breakfast.

The suite adjoins the Lancaster Suite, which is a perfect receiving area or private bar for your guests.
The Clarence Suite also has its own ceremony license, enabling you to hold your wedding ceremony
in the elegant surroundings of this room.

THE CLARENCE SUITE
The Ambassador Suite
The recently refurbished Ambassador Suite is a delightful room situated off
the main foyer of the hotel, with an arched ceiling incorporating a stunning
renaissance style hand painted central dome.

This grand but intimate room has its own wedding license enabling you to hold your wedding
ceremony in the grand surroundings of the room. The adjoining Sandringham Room acts as
an excellent receiving area for your guests.

The Regency Suite
This spacious room offers the ideal setting for the larger wedding party.
Conveniently situated off the main foyer of the hotel, the Regency Suite
with its red and gold Chandeliers, adjoins the Dukes Suite, which is a
perfect area for receiving your guests to enjoy reception drinks.

The Regency Suite also has its own ceremony license, enabling you to hold
your wedding ceremony in this very popular suite.

The Chartwell Suite is a unique room situated at the top of the hotel
offering panoramic views of at least 30 miles of surrounding ocean
coastline and overlooking the iconic West Pier and British Airways i360.

The Chartwell Suite provides wonderfully unique and intimate surroundings, perfect for a
wedding reception for you and your closest friends and relatives. This suite is not licensed.
