Quality assurance means a lot, not just to me but to an organization that depends on quality to ensure continued business. If the quality of both services and products is maintained, the company stands a greater chance of keeping its reputation and increasing business. 21. What skills do you possess that make you an excellent contender to work as a quality control inspector? For starters, I am incredibly insightful. This makes all the difference as I can quickly and accurately grasp issues and nip them in the bud. In addition to this, I have a keen eye for detail and possess a results-driven approach, which makes it easy for me to decipher quality control issues, and address them appropriately. 22. Do you have any certifications that promise to make you an excellent contender to work as a quality control inspector at our company? As a matter of fact, I am a CQI (Certified Quality Inspector), possessing various levels of Six Sigma certifications. 23. What are the basic quality assurance areas that you have worked in? Basic statistics and applications, control limits and specification limits, attributes charting, and process capability analysis are the 4 areas that I have worked in extensively, in a quality control capacity. 24. What do you know about the types of audits and audit processes that are most popular on an industrial level? The 5 basic types of audits that I have performed include internal, external, system, product and process auditing. I have been actively involved in the various stages of industrial auditing including planning, performance, and closure, with a particular focus on audit scope and purposes, required resources and analysis of results. 25. And which quality control tools are you most familiar with? I have worked extensively with Pareto charts, cause and effect diagrams, flowcharts, control charts, and checklists, along with creating and working with CARs (corrective action requests) to ensure quality at each process level.
