Maria Montessori was born in August 31, 1870 in small town called Chiaravalle at the east of Italy. Her father was Alessandro Montessori, who is married to Renilde Stoppani Montesorri who is the niece of Antonio Stoppani. Her father work as a goverment accountant. While her mother, Renide Stoppani was a well educated, wealthy woman devoted to liberation and unity of Italy. Maria is the only child of this family. She had been treat nicely since her small. Due to a new position for his father Alessandro, the family made a decision to move. At the age of five Maria and her family had been move to Rom.After one year she started went to school. In the early years of schooling, Maria is n ot so obvious in terms of

performance in its class. However as a child Maria had high ambitions. Her personalities is great and she is responsible and firmly. Since young, he has decided not to become a teacher as an adult. Her great ambition was to be an engineer. This changed when he reached the age of 12 years. At this age, children in Italy can leave school and go to work, but if they continue in school, they started specializing in certain subjects. Most of the girls, who do not expect any career other than to marry and have children, or even a teacher, takes the classic courses, learning Latin and Greek languages and literature . But Maria was interested in mathematics. This interest remained throughout her life. This unusual choice for a girl till she had to go to secondary school male. At the age of thirteen she attended an all -boy technical school in preparation for her dreams of becoming an engineer. She passed the examination with distinction and in 1886, when aged 16 years he has entered the technical college. Maria started a diploma course of mathematics and science at the University of Rome. Then Maria had decided to be a doctor. She continued her further studied in medical degree courses. Maria is the first woman in Italy who have the medical degree.

Maria Montessori believed believed that each child is born with a unique potential to be revealed, rather than as a "blank slate" waiting to be written upon. Maria believed that all children are endowed with the capacity to 'absorb' culture" and, if exposed to things could learn them without feeling like they were being taught.

and the astonishing fact that many children with proper access to resources would easily learn to read at the age of four. Education for a New World Maria said that scientific observation has established that education is not what the teacher Cabin. .In her book. Maria became known after he established a Casa dei Bambini which means children's homes or household in Rome in 1907. She sought to teach skills not by having children repeatedly try it. This method had been used in many school nowdays in America and Canada. Maria Montessori developed a teaching programme that enabled 'defective' children to read and write. The success of her me thod then caused her to ask questions of normal education and the ways in which failed children. The children learned spontaneously and with creativity. Then they expanded the learning to a vast array of other areas from botany to mathematics and more. Maria become famous after she revealed her own method of education. will they be witnesses to the unfolding of the human soul and to the rising of a New Man who will not be a victim of events. but will have the clarity of vision to direct and shape the human future of society. and is acquired not by listening to words but by experiences upon the environment. Maria Montessori had the chance to test her programme and ideas with the establishment of the first Casa dei Bambini. Doing so. Her observation was that in this way they learned happily and without tiring. but by developing exercises that prepare them. She b elieved that children learned through exposure to cultural activities. It started with reading. This house and those that followed were designed to provide a good environment for children to live and learn. There are fifthy students in this class She create her own method of education called Montesorri method. Here the children are taught to learn by themselves while the teacher provides guidance naturally. Human teachers can only help the great work that is being done. spread over a specially prepared environment. The task of the teacher Becomes that of Preparing a series of motives of cultural activity. This place had been created for the poorer child in Italy. These exercises would then be repeated. Before 1950¶s only private school are using this method. but to prepare and arrange a series of learning opportunities which each child can move through instinctively. as servants help the master. and then refraining from obtrusive interference. She said that the teacher's role was not to teach. education is a natural process spontaneously carried out by the human individual.

Montessori passes away. All three occasions the Nobel Prize eludes her. Maria is the culmination of success when he is nominated for the Nobel peace awards for the third time.
