Course Objectives:

1. Learn the basic provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991 as well as provisions
of the Constitution relative to principles of local autonomy.

2. Know and familiarize doctrinal rulings of the Supreme Court, including the latest
jurisprudence concerning interpretations of the provisions of the Local Government
Code of 1991.
