While some students may want to complete this as quickly as possible, it is designed to be completed over the course of the summer. Ideally, students will follow the schedule indicated, completing one subject per day. In addition to the content specific tasks, students are also being asked to select a book based on personal interest for summer reading. A list of suggestions for each grade level is provided, however other selections may be chosen based on input from teachers, family, and peers. Friday Weekly Writing Tasks Dear Lindley Middle School Student, Based on your personal interests and preferences, Lindley Middle School encourages the LMS student to select books, articles, and other texts to read independently. Summer Reading not only reinforces the leamiing you've done in class, but it also gives you a chance to expand your knowledge about topics that fascinate you. Your teachers have complied great suggestions to read over the summer. The titles listed complement the reading you will do in your classes next year.
