- Category A; Item shall be corrected prior the further work being performed on such portion or similar portions of the Work and prior to
the milestone containing such portion of the Work being claimed by the Contractor for Payment.
- Category B; Item shall be corrected prior to the next stage of construction, installation, testing, commissioning or acceptance. If not
completed by such stage, Category B items shall be upgraded to category A.
- Category C; Item shall be completed prior to Performance Test Completion.
- Category S; Items are those items affecting operational safety and shall be completed prior to steam blow as and Functional
Testing of the Plant. If a Category item is identified during or after steam blows or Functional Testing of the
Plant, the Contractor shall immediately make safe such Defect Performance Test Completion shall not be achieved until

3. Check that the correct bolts and gaskets are installed at all mechanical joints.

5. Check piping for correct schedule and type

6. Check that all pressure connections are installed correctly as per specification.

7. Check for direction of flow through filters and strainers, traps, check valves, globe
valves and control valves.

8. Check orifice valve tap connection.

9. Check that orifice flanges have required upstream and downstream "clearances'.

10. Check that the bores of all orifice flanges have been ground.

11. Check that all pipe supports are completely installed as per drawings and
schedules.

12. Check that all temporary pipe supports have been Install.

13. Check that gags on springs supports are in position.

14. Check that all chainwheels required for specified valves have been installed.

15. Check that all pipe seals have been installed.

16. Check that all orifice taps been seal welded and unused tapped holes have been
plugged and seal welded.

17. Check that all valves, sprinkler heads, rosettes, nozzles and other equipment

have been removed and connections plugged.

18. Check that all in-line valves are installed completely open and protected /
secured against unauthorized closing.

19. Check temporary spools, etc. have been installed.

20. Check test medium for conformity to requirements.

21. Check pressure gauge calibration correct.

22. Pipe line accepted for pressure test / and flushing.
