Dear Mr./Ms. Last Name,

I am writing to apply for the position of Marine Biologist, which I learned

about when i was much younger.

As a recent graduate of the State University of Hawaii, I have a significant

background in oceanography and botany. As a Marine major, I held multiple
internships, at the World Aquarium and bigger companies like 4ocean where you
help clean up the beaches and turn plastic that's been found into shirts for
people to buy and raise awareness and money.

You state in your job listing that you are looking for someone with a fluid
living style and a love for the sciences. Throughout all five years of college,
I worked part-time as a n Aquarist. This job requires a great deal to care for
the fish and invertebrates living in the many exhibits throughout the Aquarium.
This includes feeding the animals and maintaining their habitat by cleaning it
and keeping it as natural as possible. Planning the daily diets for the all of
the animals, treating them for diseases and weekly collecting trips are a few
more of the Aquarist duties.

These strengths, combined with my education and opportunities, I feel like I

would be a great asset to the team. I believe I’m a good choice because I
have knowledge about oceanography and chemical engineering. With this I
can be capable of multiple projects or field work exploditions. This has
been my passion since I was in kindergarten, I’ve always loved the sea
and help preserving it.

I am excited about the opportunity to join the ABCD team as it moves to the
center of the print media conversation. Thank you for your time and
consideration.

Sincerely,

Takashi Shirogane
