TEACHING LEARNING EVALUATION PLAN

Course: B.Tech (ECE) 6th Sem Session: Jan-July 2018
Subject Code: EC3224 Subject Name: Microwave Circuits and Applications L T P C
3 1 0 3
1. Course Objectives:
Microwave circuits and applications is a course designed for introducing the field of microwave engineering to students, engineers and academics.
Since at microwave frequencies, the distributed circuit effect become very prominent, new theories based on Maxwell’s laws have to be introduces.
Further new circuit design techniques as well as new circuit elements are also introduced.
2. Course Learning Outcome:
Students who successfully complete the course will be able to:
i. Learn basics about the microwave components
ii. Able to design the microwave filters
iii. Able to design the microwave amplifiers
iv. Able to find the various noises in different networks
