The graph is an expression of the battery voltage
from empty to fully charged, the battery voltage is
without any consumption.

For the voltage with consumption, it is a necessary

to add/sub the voltage drop, caused by the battery

The cell voltage is measured after resting in a period

of five hours.

Discharge Current vs Temperature

Discharge Current vs Temperature 100Ah-‐12V

The graph shows the rated discharge current from 300  A

the different batteries before the output voltage

drops to 10,5VDC. The output current can be
250  A
higher in lower temperatures, if the connected
appliance accepts voltages below 10,5VDC.
200  A

The battery current is measured with a SOC level

of 50%, the current can be higher if the battery is

150  A
fully charged.

The graph shows the expected factor of how much
more energy you can get from a lithium battery,
taking the discharge rate and DOD into account.

Less amount of capacity is needed

The graph shows how little capacity is needed 90%
in a lithium battery, compared to have the same
amount of energy available in a lead acid battery. 80%

The graph shows the percentage based on the

capacity of a lead acid battery.

The expected percentage depends of the State  Of  Charge
