ACTIVITY PROPOSAL 2016 NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF TALENTS

I. Title: 2015 - 2016 National Festival of Talents:

Date: February 22 to 25, 2016

II. Introduction
The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Secondary
Education BSE, will conduct the 2016 National Festival of Talents with the theme
“Artistry at its Best by Harmonizing Talents: Maximizing Skills. The Festival is an
avenue where the pupils/students can best show their knowledge and skill in all
learning areas.
III. Objectives
1. Provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents in the following
field such as dancing and interpreting and other matters related to education
through exhibitions of their performances as evidence of their learning.
2. Extend parallel learning sessions for teachers and students to enhance their
knowledge and skills in their respective field of interest.
3. The activity aims to strengthen and upgrade the students’ level of competence
and confidence in facing life’s challenges
4. The festival shall engage teacher-advisers and other educational leaders parallel
professional development sessions.

IV. Rationale
Each Region both public and private schools shall conduct their own
competition to select the best contestants in all categories. The winner of the said
contest will be the official delegate in the Regional Festival of Talents.
The event that our Division will be joining is the Baile sa Kalye or Street
Dancing.
Each participant included in the official list of delegation shall pay a registration
fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P 3 500.00) to be charged to the school
maintenance, this amount will be provided by the respective schools thru their
MOOE/SEF.

V. Program and Activities

 Awarding of Winnners

 Strengthening the objectives of National Festival of Talents

 Recognizing the effort and talents of Tanauenos in the field of


performance.

VII. Budget

Registration Fee 27 participants x 3 500.00 = 94,500.00

Transportation 45 participants x 7 000.00 = 315,000.00

Costume 25 participants x 5 000.00 = 125,000.00

Food (Five days, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 90.00, AM Snack and PM Snack 60.00)

45 participants x 5 days 390.00 = 87,750.00

TOTAL = 622,250.00
VI. Documentation
Attendance, program and participants shall be prepared by the Event Coordinator.
