PRACTICE:

1. Describe your bedroom: what you have/ have got in your room. Then mention what
you don´t have/ haven´t got and how much/how many.

 (American) I have a lamp on my bed, but I do not have a play station in my bedroom.

 (British) I have got a lamp on my bed but I haven’t got a play station in my bedroom.

 (American) I have a desk on my bed, but I do not have a book in my bedroom.

 (British) I have got a desk on my bed but I haven’t got a book in my bedroom.

 (American) I have a chair on my bed, but do not have a mirror in my bedroom.

 (British) I have got a chair on my bed but I haven’t got a mirror in my bedroom.

 (American) I have a computer on my bed, but do not have a speaker in my bedroom.

 (British) I have got a computer on my bed but I haven’t got a speaker in my bedroom.

 (American) I have a picture on my bed, but do not have a pencil in my bedroom

 (British) I have got a picture on my bed but I haven’t got a pencil in my bedroom

2. Look at the picture below and describe what this person has/has got in his or her
room. Then mention what she doesn´t have/ hasn´t got and how much or how many
and where.
