10.) IMPORTANT …The PC name must match the hostname to be

selected in the Fuji IIP Configuration menu. However, this cannot be
done unless MSDE (Microsoft Data Base Sequal Server) is removed.
It will be reinstalled after the PC is renamed. To do this, follow these
steps:
a. On the task bar right mouse click on Seq Sev (Green Arrow)
and select MSSQLSERVER > STOP > YES

such as “IIP-Rad” , “CT-IIP” , IIPLAB1 etc. (NOTE: 1. The
computer description window does not change the computer name.
2. The default PC name after software reload is flashiip. 3. The IIP
AE Title entered later typically uses this name followed by
“_SCU”.)
d. Restart PC (When Fuji Application starts use the mouse because
the touchscreen is not yet calibrated , to click top left then top right
to get to the desktop, you can close the “IIP Setup” window for
now)

other nodes. The old hostname(flashiip) should appear here,
change to match what was used for the PC Name in step C (Note
that the IIP Default AE Title will be FCR-CSL and port 104. Makes
sure to save the configuration changes. When the Setup
Configuration is restarted, the hostname will automatically move
under the tab “This Host”
(2)
III. IIP Configuration (Before Keys are installed)

1) Before configuring the IIP, record the default capabilities the unit has
from new software installation. This can be checked by selecting the
FCR icon at top right of main apps widow and selecting Version
Display. This is a list of all the DICOM capabilites of the IIP such as
DICOM Print, Store, Worklist etc.
For the IIP to do ANYTHING, you must have a license or what Fuji
refers to as “Keys” which must be purchased. Once purchase and
installed, they will be displayed here. ( See attached list of default Keys
that are installed with SW version 2.0 on page 11 OR refer to your
backup text file which shows the Keys customer had installed)

IV. Installing Fuji Software Keys

1) NOTE: In order for the IIP to work on the hospital network, each
capability must be purchased from Fuji and are called “Keys”. There
is one CD for each KEY. This would include but not limited to
DICOM Print, Store, Worklist, Verification, Connection to Smart/FCR
5000/Printservers etc. When you have determined what the customer
has purchased, then these keys can be installed. Normally they are on
separate disks, however, the keys have been compiled on one CD for
your service use ONLY and ONLY after it has been verified that the
customer has paid for these from Fuji. In addition, there is a separate
application CD that will enable and/or activate the installed keys. This
must always be installed last after all other keys have been installed.
2) At the desktop insert the desired key CD (or the compiled Key service
CD) CD will automatically launch. Select all desired keys and install
one at a time. When finished, run the Application key last.
3) Verify the keys are installed by REBOOTING allowing the FCR
application SW to launch. Click on the FCR icon, select Version
Display to verify they have been added to the list

V. Enabling Keys / Options in User Utility

To ensure all the “Keys” that were installed are enabled to be used by the
customer, go to the User Utility either from the desktop or from the FCR
Icon in the Fuji application. Go to Customize screen display QA Image
controller and simply drag unregistered funcions to any open position on
the top of the screen. This will register these functions and allow the
operators to use them.

determine which is the scanner) Then select : Driver Tab > Update
