AC joint (deformity) Abduction – 160 – 180
Pectoralis major (Atrophy/ Tightness) Painful arc Syndrome
Deltoid
Subacromial Bursa (swelling) Forward Flexion (160 – 180)
Biceps brachii (rupture of Long head) External Rotation (40 -60)
20 greater in dominant side

Internal Rotation (30- 45)


From Lateral Apect Lesser in Dominant side
Acromion Process Apley’s Scratch test – Female –T7; Male – T9 Spine.
More than 2 spinous level difference is abnormal
Middle deltoid
Adduction (20- 40)
Cross chest adduction
From Posterior Aspect
Scapula – Medial Border of both sides, Extension (40 -60)
Supraspinatus fossa, Infraspinatus fossa, Winging
Trapezius
Levator Scapulae

 AC joint  External rotation lag sign ( Infraspinatus)
 SC joint  Horn Blower Sign (T. minor)
 Acromion
 Clavicle
 Greater Tuberosity Subscapularis
 Lesser tuberosity  Lift Off test
 Coracoid process  Belly press test
 Subacromial bursa
 Biceps tendon
 Pectoralis major Impingement tests
 Neer’s Impingement test
 Hawkin’s Impingement test
