Remember, the highest grade you can achieve on learning outcome 3 is a Distinction Grade
and Learning outcome 4 is a Merit Grade, even if you have achieved this, if there are any minor

LO3: Your magazine is to a good standard however lacks the natural flair usually
associated with high-quality magazines. Your double-page spread needs to be made more
appealing through its choice of fonts and colours and the front page could include a more
appealing headline. You also need to experiment with text effect to improve the aesthetic
look of your magazine,

LO4: Your presentation was relevant and effective in explaining how and why you created
this specific media product. Your title ‘GCN’ captures the essence of your magazine and
the meaning/purpose of your product. Your target audience is suitable and you have
clearly set out a plan to maintain this audience throughout with the gaming content your
magazine will produce. Your budget is researched and feasible and your production
schedule is realistic. The housestyle of your magazine is also consistent throughout and
works to create an appealing product.
