Research requires collection, analysis and interpretation of data in order to resolve the problem that

initiated the research. Basically, after the researcher has identified a problem, divides it into sub-problems and
assigned the appropriate questions and made assumptions, the next step is to collect data related to the
research using those questions and organize it accordingly so that it can be easily understood.

Data collection uses many different means or methods such as interview, questionnaires and surveys,
observation, etc.

Analyzing data is reviewing, describing, and summarizing the data gathered for it to be useful.

Interpretation of data is the process of assigning meaning and value of data.
