Basic Installation
1.1 HDD Installation
Please install the hard dick first and according to the products specification.
Note: The equipment can run normally without hard disk,but can not record and playback.
1.2 Mouse Connection
There one USB port on the front and back panel,and used for mouse ,U disk and WIFI
module. Please make sure according to the products specification.
1.3 Turn on
Plug the power supply,turn on the power switched,light on and the NVR on. After finishing
the startup you will hear a beep,and the default setting of the video output is multiple-window
output mode.
Note: Restart the power after the abnormal power off,NVR will automatically recover the
status before power off.
1.4 Turn off
There are two methods to turn off the NVR which are soft switch and hard switch.Soft
switch, Entering [Main menu]>[turn off the system]>[Logout]. Hard switch, Pressing the power
switch directly.
Note: The setting information must be saved before replacing the battery otherwise
information will lose.
1.5 Login
When the NVR boots up,user must login and the system provides the corresponding
functions with the user preview.There are two user settings which are admin and guest;and they
have no passwords. “Admin” is the super user permission;”Guest” is the common user
permission.
Password Protection: If the password is continuous wrong 7 times,the account will be
locked. (Through reboot or after half an hour,the account will be unlocked automatically).

For your system security,please modify your password after first login.

DVR fast operation manual

You can right click mouse to choose the switch between the windows.

The system date, time and channel name are shown in each viewing window. The

surveillance video and the alarm status are shown in each window.

1.6 Desktop shortcut menu

In preview mode you can right click mouse to get a desktop shortcut menu. The menu

includes: main menu,record mode,playback,PTZ control,High Speed PTZ,Alarm Output,color

Setting,Output adjust,Logout,view1/4/8/9/16 screens.

1.7.1 Main menu

When you login, the system main menu is shown as below.

 1.7.2 Playback

There are two methods for you to play the video files in the hard disk.

1、 In the desktop shortcut menu.

2、 Main menu>Record->Playback

Note: The hard disk that saves the video files must be set as read-write or read-only

state.(4.5.1)

【Listed files】Look up the listed files that accord with the searching criteria.

【File information】Look up the found file information.

【File backup】Backup the chosen file. Click the button and operate as followed.

Note: The storage must be installed before the file backup. If the backup is terminated,

the already backup can playback individually.

Two. CMS software operation
One. software installation
Step one: Double click the installation file
Step two: Click “next step” and choose the storage direction.
Step three: Click “next step”,and wait for the ending and drop out when finishing.
Note:If exit the different version CMS,first uninstall the old CMS ans install a new one.
Two. Login
Step one:Double click the CMS.exe,and show with the login window,enter username,password
and port. Default username is admin,and default password is 123456,after that,click save or login
automatically, , and next time no need to set.

Step two: The CMS menu as follow.

Three. web remote control operation

One. web login
Connect with network and remotely control with DVR.
Step one: First download the active X and open the IE. Input the IP address,such as
192.168.1.85,and input http://192.168.1.85 into the IE.
Step two: When connect ok and show as follow

Step three:Login with username and password.Choose the stream as you need.

Open the video: Choose the channel and open the video as you need.
Close teh video: Left click and close the video channel.

Four. Cloud technology operation

Step one: Cloud setting
One. [Main menu] > [System] > [net service] > [Cloud]
Two. Click
Three. IP address is http:www.topslink.net
Four. Port and device ID

Step two：Open the www.topslink.net in browser

One. Sign in with a new account

Two. Login with new account and add device (ID,name,username and channels)
Three. Click the realtime viewing and choose the channel you need.
