About Angela M. Bell

Angela Bell is a Clerk at the Circuit Court which is the local branch of the court system that provides
legal assistance in Chicago, Illinois. She has been with her department for 13 years. She is responsible for
office administration and court documentation. Ms. Bell serves at the Appearance Counter where she
prepares documents for No Fee Filing with a concentration on customer service. Throughout her career,
she has worked on civil appeals, prepped cases for the department manager and has been profiled in
numerous publications. She is affiliated with the National Association of Female Executives and the
National Association of Black Accountants.

Ms. Bell has had a career with the government since 2004. She began as a Clerk with the Civil Division
for 6 districts. While there, she learned how to research missing court documents for customers, assisted
customers and attorneys and served at a warehouse counter for a year.

Born on August 9, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois, Angela obtained a B.A. in Accounting from De Paul
University in 1999. She continues training in many different areas of the Civil Division in the Circuit
Court. She was recognized by Marquis Who's Who and Manchester Who's Who. Ms. Bell was nominated
for Employee of the Year in 2006 by the Clerk of the Circuit Court-Dorothy Brown. She received the
Woman of the Year Award and Lifetime Achievement Award from The American Biographical Institute
in 2008.

In her spare time, Angela enjoys singing, volunteering with charities, serving the homeless and
volunteering for races and marathons.
